我必使火入於哈薛家、燬便哈達之宮室、

火焚哈泄家、燬便哈達之宮殿。

必使火焚哈薛家、燬便哈達宮殿、

I will send fire on the house of Hazael that will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.

So I will send fire to destroy the palace of King Hazael. It will burn up the forts of his son Ben- Hadad.

So I will send a fire upon the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the strongholds of Ben-hadad.

So I will send down fire on King Hazael’s palace, and the fortresses of King Ben hadad will be destroyed.

Therefore, I will send fire against Hazael’s palace, and it will consume Ben-hadad’s citadels.

So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael, And it will consume the citadels of Ben hadad.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad.

Therefore, I will send fire against Hazael’s palace, and it will consume Ben-hadad’s citadels.

So I will set Hazael’s house on fire; fire will consume Ben Hadad’s fortresses.

but I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it will devour the palaces of Ben Hadad.

And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.

And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.And Hazael said, But what,[ is] thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou[ shalt be] king over Syria.So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me[ that] thou shouldest surely recover.And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped[ it] in water, and spread[ it] on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all[ their] days.

And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king’s house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael[ to be] king over Syria:

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.

And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and[ there were] thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots: and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad,Thy silver and thy gold[ is] mine; thy wives also and thy children,[ even] the goodliest,[ are] mine.And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I[ am] thine, and all that I have.And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Benhadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children;Yet I will send my servants unto thee tomorrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be,[ that] whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put[ it] in their hand, and take[ it] away.Then the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this[ man] seeketh mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.And all the elders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not[ unto him], nor consent.Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again.And Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell[ him], Let not him that girdeth on[ his harness] boast himself as he that putteth it off.And it came to pass, when[ Benhadad] heard this message, as he[ was] drinking, he and the kings in the pavilions, that he said unto his servants, Set[ yourselves in array]. And they set[ themselves in array] against the city.And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I[ am] the LORD.And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the LORD,[ Even] by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou.Then he numbered the young men of the princes of the provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty two: and after them he numbered all the people,[ even] all the children of Israel,[ being] seven thousand.And they went out at noon. But Benhadad[ was] drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty and two kings that helped him.And the young men of the princes of the provinces went out first; and Benhadad sent out, and they told him, saying, There are men come out of Samaria.And he said, Whether they be come out for peace, take them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take them alive.So these young men of the princes of the provinces came out of the city, and the army which followed them.And they slew every one his man: and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them: and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an horse with the horsemen.And the king of Israel went out, and smote the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter.And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting,[ and] with the sound of the trumpet:

And they shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and[ when] all her helpers shall be destroyed.

For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

If ye then have dealt truly and sincerely with Jerubbaal and with his house this day,[ then] rejoice ye in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech.
