He said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up, and the top of Carmel withers.”

He said,“ The Lord roars like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice sounds like thunder from Zion. The grasslands of the shepherds turn brown. The top of Mount Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.”

This is what he saw and heard:“ The Lord’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem! The lush pastures of the shepherds will dry up; the grass on Mount Carmel will wither and die.”

He said: The LORD roars from Zion and makes his voice heard from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said,“ The Lord roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers.”

And he said, Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

He said: The Lord roars from Zion and raises His voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Amos said:“ The LORD comes roaring out of Zion; from Jerusalem he comes bellowing! The shepherds’ pastures wilt; the summit of Carmel withers.”

He said:“ Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither.”

耶和華必從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷出聲，天地就震動。耶和華卻要作他百姓的避難所，作以色列人的保障。

「所以你要向他們預言這一切的話，對他們說：『耶和華從高天吼叫，從聖所發出聲音，向自己的羊羣大聲吼叫；他要向地上所有的居民吶喊，像踹葡萄的人一樣。

這地悲哀，一切田野的青草枯乾要到幾時呢？因其上居民的惡行，牲畜和飛鳥都滅絕了。因為他們說：「他看不見我們的結局。」

耶和華必如勇士出征，如戰士激起憤恨，他要喊叫，大聲吶喊，擊敗他的敵人。

雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必在那裏搜尋，擒拿他們；雖然離開我眼前藏在海底，我必在那裏命令蛇咬他們；

大地悲哀衰殘，黎巴嫩羞愧且枯乾，沙崙好像曠野，巴珊和迦密必凋殘。

王的威嚇如獅子吼叫，激怒他的是自害己命。

糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜快樂不是從我們上帝的殿中止息了嗎？種子在土塊下朽爛，倉荒涼，廩破壞，因為五穀枯乾了。牲畜哀鳴，牛羣混亂，因無草場，羊羣也受苦。

耶和華的殿中斷絕素祭和澆酒祭，事奉耶和華的祭司都悲哀。田荒涼，地悲哀；因為五穀毀壞，新酒枯竭，新的油也缺乏。農夫啊，你們要慚愧；修整葡萄園的啊，你們要哀號；因為大麥、小麥與田間的莊稼全都毀了。葡萄樹枯乾，無花果樹衰殘，石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，田野一切的樹木都枯乾；眾人的喜樂盡都消逝。祭司啊，當束上麻布痛哭；事奉祭壇的啊，要哀號；事奉我上帝的啊，你們要來，披上麻布過夜，因為在你們上帝的殿中不再有素祭和澆酒祭了。

「在收割的前三個月，我不降雨在你們那裏，我降雨在這城，不降雨在那城；這塊地有雨，那塊無雨的地就必枯乾。兩三城的人擠到一個城去找水喝，卻喝不足，你們仍不歸向我。」這是耶和華說的。

「猶大悲哀，城門衰敗；眾人坐在地上哀慟，耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。

我必領以色列回他自己的草場，他要在迦密和巴珊吃草，又在以法蓮山上和基列境內得以飽足。

耶和華在他的軍旅前出聲，他的隊伍龐大，遵行他命令的強盛。耶和華的日子大而可畏，誰能當得起呢？

朵朵繁茂，其樂融融，而且歡呼。黎巴嫩的榮耀，並迦密與沙崙的華美，必賜給它。人要看見耶和華的榮耀，看見我們上帝的榮美。

我如失去小熊的母熊，攻擊他們，撕裂他們的胸膛。在那裏我必如母獅吞吃他們，如野獸撕開他們。

他斥責海，使海枯乾，使一切江河乾涸。巴珊和迦密衰殘，黎巴嫩的花草也衰殘了。

在瑪雲有一個人，他的產業在迦密。這人是一個大富翁，有三千隻綿羊，一千隻山羊；他正在迦密剪羊毛。

主耶和華不會做任何事情，除非先將奧祕指示他的僕人眾先知。獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主耶和華既已說了，誰能不說預言呢？
