He said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up, and the top of Carmel withers.”

He said,“ The Lord roars like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice sounds like thunder from Zion. The grasslands of the shepherds turn brown. The top of Mount Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.”

This is what he saw and heard:“ The Lord’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem! The lush pastures of the shepherds will dry up; the grass on Mount Carmel will wither and die.”

He said: The LORD roars from Zion and makes his voice heard from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said,“ The Lord roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers.”

And he said, Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

He said: The Lord roars from Zion and raises His voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Amos said:“ The LORD comes roaring out of Zion; from Jerusalem he comes bellowing! The shepherds’ pastures wilt; the summit of Carmel withers.”

He said:“ Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither.”

永恆主從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷發出聲音，天地就震動。但永恆主卻要做他人民的避難所，做以色列人的保障。

『所以你，你要將這一切話傳為神言去斥責他們，對他們說：「永恆主必從高天吼叫，從他的聖居所發聲；他必大聲吼叫來斥責他自己圈裏的羊，他必報以高喊聲像踹葡萄者一樣，來責罰地上所有的居民。

這地悲哀，遍野的青草枯乾，要到幾時呢？因這裏的居民所行的壞事、牲口和飛鳥都被掃滅掉，因為人們說：『他看不到我們的結局。』

永恆主像勇士出戰，像戰士激動着熱心；他喊叫，他大聲吶喊，顯其勇力以攻仇敵。

即使他們藏在迦密山頂，就是從那裏、我也必搜尋去捉出來；即使他們隱藏在海底、離開我眼前，就是從那裏、我也必吩咐蛇去咬他們。

大地悲哀衰殘；利巴嫩羞辱枯爛；沙崙好像原野；巴珊迦密把樹葉都抖掉了。

王之使人恐怖、如少壯獅子的咆哮；凡發暴怒去觸犯他的、就賠上自己的性命。

糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了麼？歡喜快樂不是從我們的上帝殿中止息了麼？穀種在耙子底下都萎縮了；倉房淒涼，廩室翻毁，因為五穀令人失望了。牲口哀鳴着，牛羣滿處亂竄，因為找不到草場；羊羣也餓得發獃。

素祭奠祭都從永恆主殿中斷絕了；伺候永恆主的祭司都悲哀着。田野毁壞，土地悲哀；因為五穀毁壞，新酒池令人失望，新油衰萎不繼。耕地的人很失望，修理葡萄園的哀號着，為了大麥小麥而悲哀；因為田間的莊稼都壞掉了。葡萄樹令人失望，無花果樹衰萎凋殘；石榴樹、及棕樹、蘋果樹、田野所有的樹木都枯乾了：唉，歡躍之樂也令人失望而不在人間了。祭司啊，腰束麻布而慟哭吧！伺候祭壇的啊，哀號哦！伺候我的上帝的啊，披着麻布進殿去過夜吧！因為素祭和奠祭都從你們的上帝殿中停止了。

『也是我在收割前還有三個月使雨停止不降在你們那裏；我降雨在一個城，不降雨在另一個城；這一塊地有雨，那一塊地無雨，就枯乾了。這樣、兩三個城的人就搖搖晃晃走到一個城去找水喝，也不得滿足；你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。

『猶大悲哀，她的城門衰敗，人都披上黑衣坐在地上哀悼；耶路撒冷的哀號聲直往上升。

我必再領以色列回他草場；他必在迦密和巴珊喫草，又在以法蓮山地和基列境內喫得心滿意足。

永恆主在他的軍隊前頭發出聲音；他的營兵極大；那執行他命令的是強盛者。永恆主的日子很大；極其可畏懼：誰能擔受得起呢？

繁盛地開花，快樂，哦快樂，並且歡呼！利巴嫩的榮耀必賜給它，連同迦密和沙崙的華美：人必看見永恆主的榮耀、我們的上帝之華美。

我必像丟崽子的母熊猛撲他們，撕裂他們的心囊，在那裏像母獅吞喫他們；野獸必撕開他們。

他叱責着海，使海枯乾，使一切江河乾涸。巴珊和迦密的樹林衰殘消損；利巴嫩的花苞也衰萎零落。

在瑪雲有一個人，他的業務在迦密；那人是個極大的財主：有綿羊三千隻、山羊一千隻；他正在迦密剪羊毛。

是的，主永恆主若有所作為，他沒有不將其機密啓示他僕人、眾神言人的。獅子一吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主永恆主一說話，誰不傳神言呢？』
