He said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up, and the top of Carmel withers.”

He said,“ The Lord roars like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice sounds like thunder from Zion. The grasslands of the shepherds turn brown. The top of Mount Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.”

This is what he saw and heard:“ The Lord’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem! The lush pastures of the shepherds will dry up; the grass on Mount Carmel will wither and die.”

He said: The LORD roars from Zion and makes his voice heard from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said,“ The Lord roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers.”

And he said, Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

He said: The Lord roars from Zion and raises His voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Amos said:“ The LORD comes roaring out of Zion; from Jerusalem he comes bellowing! The shepherds’ pastures wilt; the summit of Carmel withers.”

He said:“ Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither.”

耶和華必從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷發聲，天地就震動。耶和華卻要作他百姓的避難所，作以色列人的保障。

「所以你要向他們預言這一切的話，攻擊他們，說：耶和華必從高天吼叫，從聖所發聲，向自己的羊羣大聲吼叫；他要向地上一切的居民吶喊，像踹葡萄的一樣。

這地悲哀，通國的青草枯乾，要到幾時呢？因其上居民的惡行，牲畜和飛鳥都滅絕了。他們曾說：他看不見我們的結局。

耶和華必像勇士出去，必像戰士激動熱心，要喊叫，大聲吶喊，要用大力攻擊仇敵。

雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必搜尋，捉出他們來；雖然從我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他們；

地上悲哀衰殘；黎巴嫩羞愧枯乾；沙崙像曠野；巴珊和迦密的樹林凋殘。

王的威嚇如同獅子吼叫；惹動他怒的，是自害己命。

糧食不是在我們眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜快樂不是從我們神的殿中止息了嗎？穀種在土塊下朽爛；倉也荒涼，廩也破壞；因為五穀枯乾了。牲畜哀鳴；牛羣混亂，因為無草；羊羣也受了困苦。

素祭和奠祭從耶和華的殿中斷絕；事奉耶和華的祭司都悲哀。田荒涼，地悲哀；因為五穀毀壞，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。農夫啊，你們要慚愧；修理葡萄園的啊，你們要哀號；因為大麥小麥與田間的莊稼都滅絕了。葡萄樹枯乾；無花果樹衰殘。石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，連田野一切的樹木也都枯乾；眾人的喜樂盡都消滅。祭司啊，你們當腰束麻布痛哭；伺候祭壇的啊，你們要哀號；事奉我神的啊，你們要來披上麻布過夜，因為素祭和奠祭從你們神的殿中斷絕了。

在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你們那裏；我降雨在這城，不降雨在那城；這塊地有雨，那塊地無雨；無雨的就枯乾了。這樣，兩三城的人湊到一城去找水，卻喝不足；你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。

猶大悲哀，城門衰敗。眾人披上黑衣坐在地上；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。

我必再領以色列回他的草場，他必在迦密和巴珊吃草，又在以法蓮山上和基列境內得以飽足。」

耶和華在他軍旅前發聲，他的隊伍甚大；成就他命的是強盛者。因為耶和華的日子大而可畏，誰能當得起呢？

必開花繁盛，樂上加樂，而且歡呼。黎巴嫩的榮耀，並迦密與沙崙的華美，必賜給它。人必看見耶和華的榮耀，我們神的華美。

我遇見他們必像丟崽子的母熊，撕裂他們的胸膛。在那裏，我必像母獅吞吃他們；野獸必撕裂他們。

他斥責海，使海乾了，使一切江河乾涸。巴珊和迦密的樹林衰殘；黎巴嫩的花草也衰殘了。

在瑪雲有一個人，他的產業在迦密，是一個大富戶，有三千綿羊，一千山羊；他正在迦密剪羊毛。

主耶和華若不將奧祕指示他的僕人－眾先知，就一無所行。獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主耶和華發命，誰能不說預言呢？
