He said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up, and the top of Carmel withers.”

He said,“ The Lord roars like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice sounds like thunder from Zion. The grasslands of the shepherds turn brown. The top of Mount Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.”

This is what he saw and heard:“ The Lord’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem! The lush pastures of the shepherds will dry up; the grass on Mount Carmel will wither and die.”

He said: The LORD roars from Zion and makes his voice heard from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said,“ The Lord roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers.”

And he said, Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

He said: The Lord roars from Zion and raises His voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Amos said:“ The LORD comes roaring out of Zion; from Jerusalem he comes bellowing! The shepherds’ pastures wilt; the summit of Carmel withers.”

He said:“ Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither.”

耶和華從錫安吼叫，並從耶路撒冷發聲，天地就震動。耶和華卻要作他子民的避難所，作以色列眾子的保障。

“因此你要對他們宣講這一切話，對他們說：‘耶和華必從高天吼叫，從他的聖所發聲；他必大聲吼叫攻擊自己的羊圈；他要對地上所有的居民呼喊，像那些踹葡萄的人呼喊一樣。

這地悲哀，田野的青草都枯乾，要等到幾時呢？由於這地居民的惡行，走獸和飛鳥都滅絕了；因為他們說：“神看不見我們的結局。”

耶和華必像勇士出戰，必像戰士激動熱心；他要呼喊，大聲吶喊，要向仇敵顯出自己的威猛。

如果他們躲在迦密山頂，就是在那裡，我必搜尋他們，抓他們出來；如果他們要躲避我，藏在海底，就是在那裡，我必命令蛇去咬他們；

大地悲哀衰殘，黎巴嫩羞慚枯乾；沙崙好像荒原，巴珊和迦密的樹木凋零。

王的震怒好像獅子的吼叫；觸怒他的是自害己命。

糧食不是在我們的眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜與快樂不是從我們的神的殿中止息了嗎？穀種在土塊底下朽爛，倉庫荒涼，穀倉破爛被拆毀，因為五穀都枯乾了。牲畜發出哀鳴，牛群到處流蕩，因為沒有草場給牠們，羊群也同樣受苦。

素祭和奠祭都從耶和華的殿裡斷絕了，事奉耶和華的祭司也都悲哀。田野荒廢，土地淒涼，因為五穀毀壞，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。農夫啊！你們要為大麥和小麥羞愧。修理葡萄園的啊！你們要哀號，因為田間的莊稼都破壞了。葡萄樹枯乾，無花果樹衰殘；石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，田野所有的樹木都枯乾，因此歡樂從人間消失了。祭司啊！你們要腰束麻布，並且痛哭。在祭壇侍候的啊！你們要哀號。事奉我的神的啊！你們披上麻布進去過夜吧，因為素祭和奠祭，都從你們的神的殿中止息了。

“我曾在收割前三個月，不降雨給你們；我降雨給一個城，在另一個城卻不降雨；我在一塊地降雨，另一塊地沒有雨水就枯乾了。兩三個城的居民擠到一個城去找水喝，卻沒有足夠的水喝；但你們仍不歸向我。”這是耶和華的宣告。

“猶大悲哀，她的城鎮（“城鎮”原文作“城門”）衰落，人人都坐在地上悲傷痛哭；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達於天。

我必領以色列回到它的牧場，它必在迦密和巴珊吃草，又在以法蓮山地和基列地吃得飽足。

耶和華在他的軍隊前頭發出聲音；他的隊伍極大，成就他話語的，是強盛的人。耶和華的日子偉大，非常可畏，誰能忍受得住呢？

必茂盛地開花，大大快樂，並且歡呼。黎巴嫩的榮耀、迦密和沙崙的華美也賜給它；人們必看見耶和華的榮耀、我們神的華美。

我要襲擊他們，像一隻失掉幼熊的母熊，撕裂他們的胸膛；在那裡我必像一隻母獅吞吃他們；野獸必撕裂他們。

他一斥責海，海就乾了；他使一切江河枯乾。巴珊和迦密的樹林枯槁，黎巴嫩的花卉凋殘。

在瑪雲有一個人，他的產業在迦密。他是一個很富有的人，有綿羊三千隻，山羊一千隻，那時他正在迦密剪羊毛。

如果主耶和華不先把計劃向他的僕人眾先知顯示，他就不會作任何事。獅子吼叫，誰不害怕；主耶和華宣告，誰敢不代他傳話？
