他說：『先生，你是誰？』主說：『我就是你所逼迫的耶穌；

他問：「主啊，你到底是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。

曰：『主、爾何人？』主曰：『受迫耶穌。

“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.

“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.“ I am Jesus,” he replied.“ I am the one you are opposing.

And he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” And he said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul said.“ I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting,” he replied.

And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” And He said,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,

And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:

“ Who are You, Lord?” he said.“ I am Jesus, the One you are persecuting,” He replied.

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:[ it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

He said,“ Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

The LORD called to Samuel, and he replied,“ Here I am!”Then he ran to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” But Eli said,“ I didn’t call you. Go back and lie down.” So he went back and lay down.The LORD again called,“ Samuel!” So Samuel got up and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” But Eli said,“ I didn’t call you, my son. Go back and lie down.”Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD; the word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him.Then the LORD called Samuel a third time. So he got up and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me!” Eli then realized that it was the LORD who was calling the boy.So Eli said to Samuel,“ Go back and lie down. When he calls you, say,“ Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.” So Samuel went back and lay down in his place.Then the LORD came and stood nearby, calling as he had previously done,“ Samuel! Samuel!” Samuel replied,“ Speak, for your servant is listening!”

Do you have an arm as powerful as God’s, and can you thunder with a voice like his?Adorn yourself, then, with majesty and excellency, and clothe yourself with glory and honor!

Give sincere homage! Otherwise he will be angry, and you will die because of your behavior, when his anger quickly ignites. How blessed are all who take shelter in him!

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength– who has resisted him and remained safe?

Or are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we really stronger than he is?

One who argues with his creator is in grave danger, one who is like a mere shard among the other shards on the ground! The clay should not say to the potter,“ What in the world are you doing? Your work lacks skill!”
