But Peter sent them all outside, knelt down, and prayed. Turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said,“ Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and gently took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he died.

But Jesus gently took her by the hand and said,“ Child, get up.”

And they began making fun of him. But he put them all outside and he took the child’s father and mother and his own companions and went into the room where the child was.Then, gently taking the child by the hand, he said to her,“ Talitha koum,” which means,“ Little girl, I say to you, get up.”The girl got up at once and began to walk around( she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this.

When Elisha arrived at the house, there was the child lying dead on his bed.He went in by himself and closed the door. Then he prayed to the LORD.He got up on the bed and spread his body out over the boy; he put his mouth on the boy’s mouth, his eyes over the boy’s eyes, and the palms of his hands against the boy’s palms. He bent down over him, and the boy’s skin grew warm.Elisha went back and walked around in the house. Then he got up on the bed again and bent down over him. The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.Elisha called to Gehazi and said,“ Get the Shunammite woman.” So he did so and she came to him. He said to her,“ Take your son.”

He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,

When he had said this, he shouted in a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come out!”The one who had died came out, his feet and hands tied up with strips of cloth, and a cloth wrapped around his face. Jesus said to them,“ Unwrap him and let him go.”

He said to her,“ Hand me your son.” He took him from her arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him down on his bed.Then he called out to the LORD,“ O LORD, my God, are you also bringing disaster on this widow I am staying with by killing her son?”He stretched out over the boy three times and called out to the LORD,“ O LORD, my God, please let this boy’s breath return to him.”The LORD answered Elijah’s prayer; the boy’s breath returned to him and he lived.Elijah took the boy, brought him down from the upper room to the house, and handed him to his mother. Elijah then said,“ See, your son is alive!”

When he had said these things, he knelt down with them all and prayed.

When our time was over, we left and went on our way. All of them, with their wives and children, accompanied us outside of the city. After kneeling down on the beach and praying,

Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
