But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said,“ Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

But taking her by the hand he called, saying,“ Child, arise.”

And they laughed at him. But he put them all outside and took the child’s father and mother and those who were with him and went in where the child was.Taking her by the hand he said to her,“ Talitha cumi,” which means,“ Little girl, I say to you, arise.”And immediately the girl got up and began walking( for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.

When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed.So he went in and shut the door behind the two of them and prayed to the Lord.Then he went up and lay on the child, putting his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. And as he stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm.Then he got up again and walked once back and forth in the house, and went up and stretched himself upon him. The child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.Then he summoned Gehazi and said,“ Call this Shunammite.” So he called her. And when she came to him, he said,“ Pick up your son.”

And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed,

When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come out.”The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them,“ Unbind him, and let him go.”

And he said to her,“ Give me your son.” And he took him from her arms and carried him up into the upper chamber where he lodged, and laid him on his own bed.And he cried to the Lord,“ O Lord my God, have you brought calamity even upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by killing her son?”Then he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the Lord,“ O Lord my God, let this child’s life come into him again.”And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and he revived.And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper chamber into the house and delivered him to his mother. And Elijah said,“ See, your son lives.”

And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, accompanied us until we were outside the city. And kneeling down on the beach, we prayed

And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”
