弟兄们，至于已睡了的人，我们不愿意你们不知道，恐怕你们忧伤，像那些没有指望的人一样。

魅力是虚假的，美貌是虚浮的；惟敬畏耶和华的妇女必得称赞。她手中的成果你们要赏给她，愿她的工作在城门口荣耀她。

义人的称号带来祝福；恶人的名字必然败坏。

有些虔诚的人把司提反埋葬了，为他大大哀哭。

彼得伸手扶她起来，叫那些圣徒和寡妇都进来，把多加活活地交给他们。

因为人只要有愿做的心，必照他所有的蒙悦纳，并不是照他所没有的。

我与他们同在的时候，我奉你的名，就是你所赐给我的名，保守了他们，我也护卫了他们；其中除了那灭亡之子，没有一个灭亡的，好使经上的话得以应验。

因为常有穷人和你们在一起，但是你们不常有我。

在我们的父神面前，不住地记念你们因信心所做的工作，因爱心所受的劳苦，因盼望我们主耶稣基督所存的坚忍。

在约帕有一个女门徒，名叫大比大，翻出来的意思是多加；她广行善事，多施周济。当时，她患病死了，有人把她清洗后，停在楼上。

她所做的是尽她所能的；她是为了我的安葬，把香膏预先浇在我身上。

那些日子，门徒增多，有说希腊话的犹太人向希伯来人发怨言，因为在日常的供给上忽略了他们的寡妇。

若是弟兄或是姊妹没有衣服穿，又缺少日用的饮食；你们中间有人对他们说：“平平安安地去吧！愿你们穿得暖，吃得饱”，却不给他们身体所需要的，这有什么益处呢？信心也是这样，若没有行为是死的。

耶稣回答：“唉！这又不信又悖谬的世代啊，我和你们在一起要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里来！”

以色列的女子啊，当为扫罗哭泣！他曾使你们穿朱红色的美衣，使你们衣服有黄金的妆饰。

偷窃的，不要再偷；总要勤劳，亲手做正当的事，这样才可以把自己有的，分给有缺乏的人。

我赤身露体，你们给我穿；我病了，你们看顾我；我在监狱里，你们来看我。’义人就回答：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，给你吃；渴了，给你喝？什么时候见你流浪在外，留你住；或是赤身露体，给你穿？又什么时候见你病了，或是在监狱里，来看你呢？’

因为常有穷人和你们在一起，但是你们不常有我。”

我凡事给你们作榜样，叫你们知道应当这样劳苦，扶助软弱的人，又当记念主耶稣的话，说：‘施比受更为有福。’”

孩子们哪，我们相爱，不要只在言语或舌头上，总要以行为和真诚表现出来。

凡你手所当做的事，要尽力去做；因为在你所必须去的阴间没有工作，没有谋算，没有知识，也没有智慧。
