论到睡了的人，我们不愿意弟兄们不知道，恐怕你们忧伤，像那些没有指望的人一样。

因为常有穷人和你们同在；只是你们不常有我。

在神我们的父面前，不住地记念你们因信心所做的工夫，因爱心所受的劳苦，因盼望我们主耶稣基督所存的忍耐。

在约帕有一个女徒，名叫大比大，翻希腊话就是多加；她广行善事，多施周济。当时，她患病而死，有人把她洗了，停在楼上。

她所做的，是尽她所能的；她是为我安葬的事把香膏预先浇在我身上。

那时，门徒增多，有说希腊话的犹太人向希伯来人发怨言，因为在天天的供给上忽略了他们的寡妇。

若是弟兄或是姐妹，赤身露体，又缺了日用的饮食；你们中间有人对他们说：“平平安安地去吧！愿你们穿得暖，吃得饱”，却不给他们身体所需用的，这有什么益处呢？这样，信心若没有行为就是死的。

耶稣说：“嗳！这又不信又悖谬的世代啊，我在你们这里要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里来吧！”

以色列的女子啊，当为扫罗哭号！他曾使你们穿朱红色的美衣，使你们衣服有黄金的妆饰。

从前偷窃的，不要再偷；总要劳力，亲手做正经事，就可有余分给那缺少的人。

我赤身露体，你们给我穿；我病了，你们看顾我；我在监里，你们来看我。’义人就回答说：‘主啊，我们什么时候见你饿了，给你吃，渴了，给你喝？什么时候见你作客旅，留你住，或是赤身露体，给你穿？又什么时候见你病了，或是在监里，来看你呢？’

因为常有穷人和你们同在，只是你们不常有我。”

我凡事给你们作榜样，叫你们知道应当这样劳苦，扶助软弱的人，又当记念主耶稣的话，说：‘施比受更为有福。’”

小子们哪，我们相爱，不要只在言语和舌头上，总要在行为和诚实上。

凡你手所当做的事要尽力去做；因为在你所必去的阴间没有工作，没有谋算，没有知识，也没有智慧。
