弟兄們，關於睡了的人，我們不願意你們不明白，免得你們憂傷，就像其他那些沒有盼望的人一樣。

嫵媚是虛假的，美貌是虛幻的；唯有敬畏耶和華的女子必受稱讚。願她享受自己手中的果實，願她所做的使她在城門口受稱讚！

記念義人帶來祝福，惡人的名卻必朽爛。

有些虔誠的人把司提反埋葬了，為他大大地悲傷。

耶穌對他們說：「這就是我還與你們在一起的時候，對你們說過的話：摩西的律法、先知書和詩篇上所記的有關我的一切事，都必須應驗。」

彼得伸手扶她站起來，又叫聖徒們和寡婦們進來，把活過來的多卡絲交給他們。

因為人如果有樂意之心，就會照著他所擁有的蒙悅納，並不是照著他所沒有的蒙悅納。

我與他們在一起的時候，我奉你的名，就是奉你賜給我的名保守了他們，也護衛了他們。他們當中除了那滅亡之子以外，沒有一個人失落。這是為要應驗經上的話。

要知道，你們總是有窮人與你們在一起，但你們不總是有我。

在神我們的父面前，不住地記念你們在我們主耶穌基督裡的信仰的行為、愛心的勞苦，以及對盼望的忍耐。

在約帕有一個女門徒，名叫塔比莎——「塔比莎」翻譯出來意思是「羚羊」。她盡做美善工作，常行施捨。就在那些日子裡，她患病死了。人們清洗了遺體，就放在樓上的房間。

她盡她所能的做了。她是為我的安葬，預先膏抹了我的身體。

在那些日子裡，門徒增多。說希臘語的猶太人抱怨那些說希伯來語的猶太人，因為他們的寡婦在每日的服事上被忽略了。

如果有弟兄或姐妹衣不蔽體，又缺乏日用的食物，而你們當中有人對他們說：「平平安安地去吧！願你們穿得暖、吃得飽！」，卻不給他們身體所需要的，這有什麼好處呢？信仰也是這樣：如果沒有行為，這信仰就是死的。

耶穌回答說：「唉，這個不信、歪曲的世代！我還要與你們在一起多久呢？我還要容忍你們多久呢？把孩子帶到我這裡來吧！」

以色列女子啊，要為掃羅哀哭，是他使你們穿上朱紅的美衣，使你們的衣袍佩上黃金的妝飾。

偷竊的，不可再偷，反而要勞苦做工，親手做有益處的事，好使自己能有所得，分給有需要的人。

我衣不蔽體，你們給我穿；我患了病，你們照顧我；我在監獄裡，你們探望我。』「那時義人將回答說：『主啊，我們什麼時候見你餓了就給你吃，見你渴了就給你喝呢？我們什麼時候見你在異鄉就收留了你，見你衣不蔽體就給你穿呢？又什麼時候見你患病或在監獄裡，就到你那裡去呢？』

要知道，你們總是有窮人與你們在一起，但你們不總是有我。」

在一切事上，我都給你們做了榜樣：必須這樣地勞苦做工來扶助軟弱的人，並且要記住主耶穌自己說過的話：『施比受更加蒙福。』」

孩子們哪，讓我們不在語言或口頭上相愛，而在行為和真理中相愛，

凡是你手當做的，你都當極力去做；因為在你必去的陰間沒有工作，沒有籌劃，沒有知識，也沒有智慧。
