那些日子，门徒增多，有说希腊话的犹太人向希伯来人发怨言，因为在日常的供给上忽略了他们的寡妇。

我又屡次行远路，遭江河的危险，盗贼的危险，同族人的危险，外族人的危险，城里的危险，旷野的危险，海中的危险，假弟兄的危险。

但内中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他们到了安提阿也向希腊人传讲主耶稣的福音。

到了以弗所，保罗就把他们留在那里，自己进了会堂，和犹太人辩论。

当时有从称为“自由人”会堂，并古利奈、亚历山大会堂来的人，还有些从基利家、亚细亚来的人，起来和司提反辩论。司提反是以智慧和圣灵说话，众人抵挡不住，

立刻在各会堂里传扬耶稣，说他是上帝的儿子。凡听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的不就是这个人吗？他不是到这里来要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里去吗？”但扫罗越发有能力，驳倒住在大马士革的犹太人，证明耶稣是基督。过了好些日子，犹太人商议要杀扫罗，

只有巴拿巴接待他，领他去见使徒，把他在路上怎么看见主，主怎么向他说话，他在大马士革怎么奉耶稣的名放胆传道，都述说出来。

于是他在会堂里与犹太人和虔敬的人，以及每日在市场上所遇见的人辩论。

保罗进会堂，一连三个月放胆讲道，辩论上帝国的事，劝导众人。

天使长米迦勒为摩西的尸首与魔鬼争辩的时候，尚且不敢用毁谤的话谴责他，只说：“主责备你吧！”

亲爱的，我一直很迫切地想要写信给你们，论到我们同享的救恩，但我觉得有必要现在就写信劝你们，要为从前一次交付给圣徒的真道竭力奋斗。
