But Barnabas took Saul, brought him to the apostles, and related to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus.

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.

But Barnabas took him to the apostles. He told them about Saul’s journey. He said that Saul had seen the Lord. He told how the Lord had spoken to Saul. Barnabas also said that Saul had preached without fear in Jesus’ name in Damascus.

When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and discovered that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized these men had been with Jesus.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and get information from him, and I stayed with him fifteen days.But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord’s brother.

Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to look for Saul,

we have unanimously decided to choose men to send to you along with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul,who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As he was going along, approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”So he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” He replied,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting!But stand up and enter the city and you will be told what you must do.”

So Ananias departed and entered the house, placed his hands on Saul and said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

A report about them came to the attention of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch.

and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying,“ This man is the Son of God.”All who heard him were amazed and were saying,“ Is this not the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners to the chief priests?”But Saul became more and more capable, and was causing consternation among the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.

When Paul and Barnabas had a major argument and debate with them, the church appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others from among them to go up to meet with the apostles and elders in Jerusalem about this point of disagreement.

So Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem when they had completed their mission, bringing along with them John Mark.

But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming( along with many others) the word of the Lord.After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord to see how they are doing.”Barnabas wanted to bring John called Mark along with them too,but Paul insisted that they should not take along this one who had left them in Pamphylia and had not accompanied them in the work.They had a sharp disagreement, so that they parted company. Barnabas took along Mark and sailed away to Cyprus,

While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Pray for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speak– that I may confidently make known the mystery of the gospel,for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.

And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them by their hypocrisy.

and when James, Cephas, and John, who had a reputation as pillars, recognized the grace that had been given to me, they gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, agreeing that we would go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

Or do only Barnabas and I lack the right not to work?

Last of all, as though to one born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
