All who heard him were amazed, and said,“ Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

凡听见的人都惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的，不是这人吗？并且他到这里来，特要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里。”

凡听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的不就是这个人吗？他不是到这里来要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里去吗？”

凡听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的不就是这个人吗？他不是到这里来要捆绑他们，带到祭司长那里去吗？”

听的人都大吃一惊，说：“他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人吗？他到这里来不是要把大马士革的信徒押去见祭司长吗？”

听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的，不是这个人吗？他来这里不是要缉拿他们交给祭司长吗？”

所有听见的人都十分惊讶，说：“这不就是那个在耶路撒冷残害了那些求告这名的人吗？而且他来到这里，不就是为要捆绑他们，带到祭司长们那里吗？”

凡聽見的人都驚奇，說：「在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這人嗎？並且他到這裏來，特要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏。」

凡聽見的人都很驚奇，說：「在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的不就是這個人嗎？他不是到這裏來要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏去嗎？」

聽的人都大吃一驚，說：「他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人嗎？他到這裡來不是要把大馬士革的信徒押去見祭司長嗎？」

聽見的人都很驚奇，說：“在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這個人嗎？他來這裡不是要緝拿他們交給祭司長嗎？”

凡聽見的都驚奇說：『這個人豈不是那在耶路撒冷殘害呼求這名的麼？他到這裏來，豈不是要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏麼？』

所有聽見的人都十分驚訝，說：「這不就是那個在耶路撒冷殘害了那些求告這名的人嗎？而且他來到這裡，不就是為要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長們那裡嗎？」

聞者皆驚異之、曰、此人非在耶路撒冷、殘害籲斯名者、且來此、欲繫之、解於祭司諸長乎、

眾聞、奇之曰、此非在耶路撒冷、殘賊凡籲斯名者乎、今至此、欲繫是徒、解祭司諸長歟、

凡聞之者、皆奇異曰、此人非在耶路撒冷殘害籲斯名者乎、今至此、非為縛之以解於祭司諸長乎、

聞者異曰『耶路撒冷殘害呼籲斯名者、非斯人乎？此來非欲網弋若輩、以解司祭長乎？』

All those who heard him were astonished and asked,“ Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed. They asked,“ Isn’t he the man who caused great trouble in Jerusalem? Didn’t he make trouble for those who worship Jesus? Hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

And all who heard him were amazed and said,“ Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed.“ Isn’t this the same man who caused such devastation among Jesus’ followers in Jerusalem?” they asked.“ And didn’t he come here to arrest them and take them in chains to the leading priests?”

All who heard him were astounded and said,“ Isn’t this the man in Jerusalem who was causing havoc for those who called on this name and came here for the purpose of taking them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All those hearing him continued to be amazed, and were saying,“ Is this not the one who in Jerusalem destroyed those who called on this name, and had come here for the purpose of bringing them bound before the chief priests?”

Then all who heard were amazed, and said,“ Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”

And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests.

But all who heard him were astounded and said,“ Isn’t this the man who, in Jerusalem, was destroying those who called on this name and then came here for the purpose of taking them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

But all that heard[ him] were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

All who heard him were amazed and were saying,“ Is this not the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

But Ananias answered,“ Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

But Saul ravaged the assembly, entering into every house and dragged both men and women off to prison.

They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Behold, I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Yahweh of Armies, who dwells in Mount Zion.

But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priestand asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

They were all amazed, and were perplexed, saying to one another,“ What does this mean?”

Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel,‘ What has God done!’

For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it.I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his graceto reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother.Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,but they only heard:“ He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”So they glorified God in me.

When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and were bewildered, because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.

They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, even him who had the legion; and they were afraid.Those who saw it declared to them what happened to him who was possessed by demons, and about the pigs.They began to beg him to depart from their region.As he was entering into the boat, he who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him.He didn’t allow him, but said to him,“ Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you.”He went his way, and began to proclaim in Decapolis how Jesus had done great things for him, and everyone marveled.

when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints and to be admired among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you; for they are men who are a sign: for, behold, I will bring out my servant, the Branch.

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.

Coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said,“ Where did this man get this wisdom, and these mighty works?Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

The neighbors therefore, and those who saw that he was blind before, said,“ Isn’t this he who sat and begged?”Others were saying,“ It is he.” Still others were saying,“ He looks like him.” He said,“ I am he.”

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.

I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge.
