Then all who heard were amazed, and said,“ Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”

听的人都大吃一惊，说：“他不就是那在耶路撒冷迫害信徒的人吗？他到这里来不是要把大马士革的信徒押去见祭司长吗？”

听见的人都很惊奇，说：“在耶路撒冷残害求告这名的，不是这个人吗？他来这里不是要缉拿他们交给祭司长吗？”

所有听见的人都十分惊讶，说：“这不就是那个在耶路撒冷残害了那些求告这名的人吗？而且他来到这里，不就是为要捆绑他们，带到祭司长们那里吗？”

凡聽見的人都驚奇，說：「在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這人嗎？並且他到這裏來，特要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏。」

凡聽見的都驚奇說：『這個人豈不是那在耶路撒冷殘害呼求這名的麼？他到這裏來，豈不是要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長那裏麼？』

所有聽見的人都十分驚訝，說：「這不就是那個在耶路撒冷殘害了那些求告這名的人嗎？而且他來到這裡，不就是為要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長們那裡嗎？」

聞者皆驚異之、曰、此人非在耶路撒冷、殘害籲斯名者、且來此、欲繫之、解於祭司諸長乎、

眾聞、奇之曰、此非在耶路撒冷、殘賊凡籲斯名者乎、今至此、欲繫是徒、解祭司諸長歟、

凡聞之者、皆奇異曰、此人非在耶路撒冷殘害籲斯名者乎、今至此、非為縛之以解於祭司諸長乎、

聞者異曰『耶路撒冷殘害呼籲斯名者、非斯人乎？此來非欲網弋若輩、以解司祭長乎？』

All those who heard him were astonished and asked,“ Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed. They asked,“ Isn’t he the man who caused great trouble in Jerusalem? Didn’t he make trouble for those who worship Jesus? Hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

And all who heard him were amazed and said,“ Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed.“ Isn’t this the same man who caused such devastation among Jesus’ followers in Jerusalem?” they asked.“ And didn’t he come here to arrest them and take them in chains to the leading priests?”

All who heard him were astounded and said,“ Isn’t this the man in Jerusalem who was causing havoc for those who called on this name and came here for the purpose of taking them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All those hearing him continued to be amazed, and were saying,“ Is this not the one who in Jerusalem destroyed those who called on this name, and had come here for the purpose of bringing them bound before the chief priests?”

And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests.

But all who heard him were astounded and said,“ Isn’t this the man who, in Jerusalem, was destroying those who called on this name and then came here for the purpose of taking them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

But all that heard[ him] were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

All who heard him were amazed and were saying,“ Is this not the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

All who heard him were amazed, and said,“ Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

Then Ananias answered,“ Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”

As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison.

Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.

Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priestand asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another,“ Whatever could this mean?”

“ For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel,‘ Oh, what God has done!’

For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days.But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.( Now concerning the things which I write to you, indeed, before God, I do not lie.)Afterward I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.And I was unknown by face to the churches of Judea which were in Christ.But they were hearing only,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”And they glorified God in me.

And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine.Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him,“ Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.

when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

‘ Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said,“ Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said,“ Is not this he who sat and begged?”Some said,“ This is he.” Others said,“ He is like him.” He said,“ I am he.”

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

I have become as a wonder to many, But You are my strong refuge.
