爾曹不秉公審判、反徇惡人情面、將至何時、細拉、爾曹當為卑弱者及孤兒伸冤、當為困苦貧窮者辨屈、當保護卑弱貧窮之人、救其脫離惡人之手、

詭謀我族、困苦我祖、使棄其男孩、不許存活、

越三日、保羅請猶太人之長者、既集、謂之曰、諸兄長、我未獲罪我民、或犯我列祖之例、竟在耶路撒冷被囚、付於羅瑪人手、羅瑪人審我、見我無死罪、欲釋我、惟猶太人言不可、我不得已、求審於該撒、並非有意訟我民也、為此我請爾曹相見敘論、我實為以色列民所望者被繫以此鐵索、眾曰、我儕未接猶太來書論爾、兄弟至此、亦未言爾有何不善、但我願聞爾意如何、蓋論此教、我知其隨在被非議矣、

惟保羅等離別迦前行、至彼西底之安提約、於安息日入會堂坐焉、讀律法及先知書畢、司會堂者、使人問曰、兄弟、若有勸民之語、請言之、
