When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush,“ Moses, Moses!” And he said,“ Here I am.”

And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am, for you called me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy.Therefore Eli said to Samuel,“ Go, lie down, and if he calls you, you shall say,‘ Speak, Lord, for your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.And the Lord came and stood, calling as at other times,“ Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel said,“ Speak, for your servant hears.”

Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said,“ Here I am!”

Then the angel of God said to me in the dream,‘ Jacob,’ and I said,‘ Here I am!’

Now while Peter was inwardly perplexed as to what the vision that he had seen might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon’s house, stood at the gateand called out to ask whether Simon who was called Peter was lodging there.And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him,“ Behold, three men are looking for you.Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.”

“‘ And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

But if he says,‘ I have no pleasure in you,’ behold, here I am, let him do to me what seems good to him.”

And he said,“ Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
