昔有丟大起、自矜為大、附之者約四百人、及其服誅、從者俱散、歸於無有、

徑行全島、至帕弗、遇一猶太人、乃術士、亦偽先知、名巴耶穌、

由己而言者、乃求己之榮、惟求遣之者之榮、斯人為真、在其內無不義、

其聽信之故、因彼久以巫術駭民、

爾中不可有使子女經於火者、卜筮占吉凶者、有邪法巫術者、書符念咒者、交鬼者、為巫覡者、詢問於死者、凡行此者為主所惡、因此可惡之事、主爾之天主將彼驅逐於爾前、

有虔敬之貌、而無虔敬之實、而無虔敬之實原文作而不認其德若此者、爾當遠避、

信者多來自認其罪、自訴所行、且素行邪術者、多有集其書焚於眾前、計書價值銀五萬第拿流、約銀五千兩主道大興廣播、其力如此、○

昔雅尼佯比利敵摩西、此等人、亦如是敵真理、其人壞心術、見絕於聖道、見絕於聖道或作於主道被擯者然不能久敵、其愚魯必露於眾、如昔二人然、○

彼惡者敵天主、妄自尊崇、超軼凡稱為主、凡受人崇拜者、甚至坐於天主殿、髣髴天主、且自言為天主、

行大異跡、能於人前使火自天降地、既得權、在獸前行異跡、遂誘惑居於地之人、使之為見傷於刃而尚活之獸作像、

伊及之術士、以其法術亦行是事、法老之心仍剛愎、不聽摩西亞倫、如主之所言、

凡行邪妄從交鬼之人及巫覡者、我必向斯人震怒、滅絕於民中、

凡犬類、巫覡、行淫者、殺人者、拜偶像者、好誑言、並造誑言者、皆在邑外、○

出言矜誇虛誕、以肉體之嗜慾及邪侈之事、誘惑甫脫於妄行之人、
