For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.

Crowds came from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed.

Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said,“ He’s dead.”

While they were at Lystra, Paul and Barnabas came upon a man with crippled feet. He had been that way from birth, so he had never walked. He was sittingand listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.So Paul called to him in a loud voice,“ Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking.

News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed— he healed them all.

“ I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

But Peter said,“ I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened.

A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all.The crowd was amazed! Those who hadn’t been able to speak were talking, the crippled were made well, the lame were walking, and the blind could see again! And they praised the God of Israel.

The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will sing for joy! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the wasteland.

When the seventy two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him,“ Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!”

There he met a man named Aeneas, who had been paralyzed and bedridden for eight years.Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you! Get up, and roll up your sleeping mat!” And he was healed instantly.

four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat.They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus.Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ My child, your sins are forgiven.”But some of the teachers of religious law who were sitting there thought to themselves,“ What is he saying? This is blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins!”Jesus knew immediately what they were thinking, so he asked them,“ Why do you question this in your hearts?Is it easier to say to the paralyzed man‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or‘ Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk’?So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”

the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”

And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.
