他們到了凱撒利亞，將公文呈交總督，把保羅交給他。

在凱撒利亞有一位隸屬義大利營的百夫長名叫哥尼流。

於是，千夫長召來兩名百夫長，吩咐道：「預備二百名步兵、七十名騎兵、二百名長槍手，今晚九時出發去凱撒利亞。

第二天我們離開那裡，來到凱撒利亞，住在傳道人腓利家裡。他是當初選出的七位執事之一。

非斯都卻拒絕道：「保羅現在關押在凱撒利亞，我很快會回到那裡。

非利士人將擄來的上帝的約櫃從以便以謝抬到亞實突城，

非斯都在耶路撒冷只逗留了十天八天，便返回了凱撒利亞。第二天，他開庭審訊，命人將保羅帶上來。

還有以革倫到地中海一帶所有靠近亞實突的城邑和鄉村，亞實突及其附近的城邑和鄉村，迦薩及其附近的城邑和鄉村，直到埃及小河和地中海沿岸。

彼得和約翰為主做見證，傳講主的道。之後，他們啟程回耶路撒冷，沿途又在撒瑪利亞各村莊傳揚福音。

希律派人四處搜捕，一無所獲，於是親自審問看守彼得的衛兵，下令處決他們。後來希律離開猶太，下到凱撒利亞，並住在那裡。

非斯都上任三天後，便從凱撒利亞啟程上耶路撒冷。

混雜的種族必佔領亞實突，我必剷除非利士人的驕傲。
