And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.

For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,

And again he says:“ Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”And again:“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!”And again, Isaiah says:“ There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation,but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.

And there was great joy in that city.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
