我默然无声，连好话也不出口；我的愁苦就发动了，

因我所遭遇的是出于你，我就默然不语。

次日，约翰看见耶稣来到他那里，就说：“看哪，神的羔羊，除去世人罪孽的！

耶和华啊，你晓得我，看见我，察验我向你是怎样的心。求你将他们拉出来，好像将宰的羊，叫他们等候杀戮的日子。

大祭司就站起来，对耶稣说：“你什么都不回答吗？这些人作见证告你的是什么呢？”耶稣却不言语。大祭司对他说：“我指着永生神叫你起誓告诉我们，你是神的儿子基督不是？”

乃是凭着基督的宝血，如同无瑕疵、无玷污的羔羊之血。

当下耶稣说：“父啊！赦免他们；因为他们所做的，他们不晓得。”兵丁就拈阄分他的衣服。

这要应验耶稣从前的话，说：“你所赐给我的人，我没有失落一个。”西门彼得带着一把刀，就拔出来，将大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉他的右耳；那仆人名叫马勒古。耶稣就对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧，我父所给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢？”
