你把我们交出，如同作食物的羊；你又把我们打散在列国中。你把你的子民廉价卖掉，并没有从他们的售价多获利益。

我默然不语，连好话也不出口，我的苦痛就加剧了。

正如经上所记：“为你的缘故，我们终日被置于死地，被看为要宰杀的羊。”

我默然无声，也不开口，因为这都是你所做的。

第二天，约翰看见耶稣向他走来，就说：“看哪，神的羔羊，除去世人罪孽的！

于是大祭司就站起来，问耶稣：“对这些人控告你的事，你什么都不回应吗？”耶稣却沉默不语。大祭司又对他说：“我命令你指着永生的神起誓，告诉我们你是不是基督——神的儿子？”

而是凭着那像羔羊一样毫无瑕疵、毫无玷污的基督宝血。

那时，耶稣说：“父啊，赦免他们！因为他们不知道自己在做什么。”士兵们抽签分了他的衣服。

这是为要应验耶稣说过的话：“你所赐给我的人，我一个也没有丢失。”西门彼得带着一把刀。他拔出刀来，向大祭司的奴仆砍去，削掉了他的右耳。那奴仆的名字是马勒古。耶稣就对彼得说：“把刀收回鞘里！父所赐给我的杯，我难道能不喝吗？”
