有主之天神謂斐理伯曰：『起而南、循耶路撒冷赴迦薩荒僻之路以行。』

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip,“ Go south to the road— the desert road— that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip.“ Go south to the desert road,” he said.“ It’s the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip,“ Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.

As for Philip, an angel of the Lord said to him,“ Go south down the desert road that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip:“ Get up and go south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is the desert road.)

But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Get ready and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is a desert road.)

Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.

But an angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza: the same is desert.

An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip:“ Get up and go south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is the desert road.)

And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert.”

But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said,

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve came to me

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Immediately an angel of the Lord struck Herod down because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten by worms and died.

Even though I struck you down in my anger, I will restore my favor and have compassion on you.Your gates will remain open at all times; they will not be shut during the day or at night, so that the wealth of nations may be delivered, with their kings leading the way.Indeed, nations or kingdoms that do not serve you will perish; such nations will be totally destroyed.The splendor of Lebanon will come to you, its evergreens, firs, and cypresses together, to beautify my palace; I will bestow honor on my throne room.The children of your oppressors will come bowing to you; all who treated you with disrespect will bow down at your feet. They will call you,‘ The City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.’You were once abandoned and despised, with no one passing through, but I will make you a permanent source of pride and joy to coming generations.You will drink the milk of nations; you will nurse at the breasts of kings. The angel said to him,“ Fasten your belt and put on your sandals.” Peter did so. Then the angel said to him,“ Put on your cloak and follow me.”Peter went out and followed him; he did not realize that what was happening through the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.After they had passed the first and second guards, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went outside and walked down one narrow street, when at once the angel left him.When Peter came to himself, he said,“ Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from everything the Jewish people were expecting to happen.”

They said,“ Cornelius the centurion, a righteous and God- fearing man, well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear a message from you.”

In those days John the Baptist came into the wilderness of Judea proclaiming,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”For he is the one about whom Isaiah the prophet had spoken:“ The voice of one shouting in the wilderness,‘ Prepare the way for the Lord, make his paths straight.’”
