我看出你正在苦胆之中，被罪恶捆绑。”

我看得出你正因为嫉妒而心里充满了苦涩，被罪恶捆绑。”

我看出你正在苦胆之中，邪恶捆绑着你。”

因我看出你在苦毒的胆汁中，被不义所捆绑。”

我看出你正在苦膽之中，被罪惡捆綁。」

我看出你正在苦膽之中，被不義捆綁着。」

我看出你正在苦膽之中，被不義捆綁着。」

我看得出你正因為嫉妒而心裡充滿了苦澀，被罪惡捆綁。」

我看出你正在苦膽之中，邪惡捆綁著你。”

因為我看你在極苦之苦膽中、在不義之捆綁裏。』

因我看出你在苦毒的膽汁中，被不義所捆綁。」

蓋我見爾在膽之苦、惡之繫也、

我見爾如在苦膽中、為物欲所繫也、

我見爾如在苦膽中、為惡所繫也、

吾見爾正處於荼毒之中、為罪惡重加束縛。』

For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”

I see that you are very bitter. You are a prisoner of sin.”

For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.”

for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.”

For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of unrighteousness.”

For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

For I see that thou art in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.

For I see you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and[ in] the bond of iniquity.

For I see that you are bitterly envious and in bondage to sin.”

For I see that you are in the poison of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.”

A wicked man’s iniquities will trap him; he will become tangled in the ropes of his own sin.

Isn’t this the fast I choose: To break the chains of wickedness, to untie the ropes of the yoke, to set the oppressed free, and to tear off every yoke?

Make sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up, causing trouble and defiling many.

Jesus responded,“ Truly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.

For if God didn’t spare the angels who sinned but cast them into hell and delivered them in chains of utter darkness to be kept for judgment;

LORD, I am indeed your servant; I am your servant, the son of your female servant. You have loosened my bonds.

For their vine is from the vine of Sodom and from the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poisonous; their clusters are bitter.Their wine is serpents’ venom, the deadly poison of cobras.

For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.

Remember my affliction and my homelessness, the wormwood and the poison.

So now, do not scoff, or your shackles will become stronger. Indeed, I have heard from the Lord GOD of Armies a decree of destruction for the whole land.

Your way and your actions have brought this on you. This is your punishment. It is very bitter, because it has reached your heart!

They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, since people are enslaved to whatever defeats them.

Therefore, this is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ I am about to feed this people wormwood and give them poisonous water to drink.

Be sure there is no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the LORD our God to go and worship the gods of those nations. Be sure there is no root among you bearing poisonous and bitter fruit.When someone hears the words of this oath, he may consider himself exempt, thinking,‘ I will have peace even though I follow my own stubborn heart.’ This will lead to the destruction of the well-watered land as well as the dry land.The LORD will not be willing to forgive him. Instead, his anger and jealousy will burn against that person, and every curse written in this scroll will descend on him. The LORD will blot out his name under heaven,

But thank God that, although you used to be slaves of sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching to which you were handed over,and having been set free from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.I am using a human analogy because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness.So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? The outcome of those things is death.But now, since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification— and the outcome is eternal life!

He has laid siege against me, encircling me with bitterness and hardship.

yet the food in his stomach turns into cobras’ venom inside him.
