But Peter said to him,“ Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!

彼得对他说：“你的银子和你一起灭亡吧！因为你以为神的恩赐可以用钱买到！

彼得說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得責備他說：「你和你的錢都一同毀滅吧！因為你以為可以用錢買上帝的恩賜！

彼得對他說：『你的銀子跟你一同滅亡！因為你以為上帝白白的恩是可以用錢買得來的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一起滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜可以用錢買到！

彼得謂之曰、爾金與爾偕亡、因爾意上帝之賜、可以金而獲也、

彼得曰、金與汝偕亡、爾意上帝之賜、可以金市耶、

彼得謂之曰、爾之金與爾偕亡、因爾意天主之賜、以金可購也、

伯鐸祿曰：『願爾與金偕亡！爾思以金錢易取天主之恩賜乎？

Peter answered:“ May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!

Peter answered,“ May your money be destroyed with you! Do you think you can buy God’s gift with money?

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter replied,“ May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire the gift of God with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.

Then Peter said to them,“ Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days.

Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying,‘ The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,’ and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the Lord against you, and it become sin among you.

“ I will send out the curse,” says the Lord of hosts;“ It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones.”

Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it is an accursed thing.

“ Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house, That he may set his nest on high, That he may be delivered from the power of disaster!You give shameful counsel to your house, Cutting off many peoples, And sin against your soul.

“ Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

( Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.

Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of Achor.And Joshua said,“ Why have you troubled us? And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.

Then he said to him,“ Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants?Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.

If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?”

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,saying,“ I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” And they said,“ What is that to us? You see to it!”Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, But the words of the pure are pleasant.
