Peter answered:“ May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!

彼得对他说：“你的银子跟你一同灭亡吧！因为你以为神的恩赐，是可以用钱买的。

彼得对他说：“你的银子和你一起灭亡吧！因为你以为神的恩赐可以用钱买到！

彼得說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因為你想上帝的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因為你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得責備他說：「你和你的錢都一同毀滅吧！因為你以為可以用錢買上帝的恩賜！

彼得對他說：“你的銀子跟你一同滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜，是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：『你的銀子跟你一同滅亡！因為你以為上帝白白的恩是可以用錢買得來的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一起滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜可以用錢買到！

彼得謂之曰、爾金與爾偕亡、因爾意上帝之賜、可以金而獲也、

彼得曰、金與汝偕亡、爾意上帝之賜、可以金市耶、

彼得謂之曰、爾之金與爾偕亡、因爾意天主之賜、以金可購也、

伯鐸祿曰：『願爾與金偕亡！爾思以金錢易取天主之恩賜乎？

Peter answered,“ May your money be destroyed with you! Do you think you can buy God’s gift with money?

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter replied,“ May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought the gift of God could be obtained with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire God’s gift with money!

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

Then Daniel answered the king,“ You may keep your gifts for yourself and give your rewards to someone else. Nevertheless, I will read the writing for the king and tell him what it means.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

Peter replied,“ Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn

Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days.

Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.

With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed— an accursed brood!They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness.But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey— an animal without speech— who spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.

Be careful not to harbor this wicked thought:“ The seventh year, the year for canceling debts, is near,” so that you do not show ill will toward the needy among your fellow Israelites and give them nothing. They may then appeal to the Lord against you, and you will be found guilty of sin.

The Lord Almighty declares,‘ I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in that house and destroy it completely, both its timbers and its stones.’”

Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Regard it as vile and utterly detest it, for it is set apart for destruction.

“ Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, setting his nest on high to escape the clutches of ruin!You have plotted the ruin of many peoples, shaming your own house and forfeiting your life.

“ Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

( With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.

Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.Joshua said,“ Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.” Then all Israel stoned him, and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them.

Then Naaman and all his attendants went back to the man of God. He stood before him and said,“ Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. So please accept a gift from your servant.”The prophet answered,“ As surely as the Lord lives, whom I serve, I will not accept a thing.” And even though Naaman urged him, he refused.

The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles.

But Elisha said to him,“ Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money or to accept clothes— or olive groves and vineyards, or flocks and herds, or male and female slaves?Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever.” Then Gehazi went from Elisha’s presence and his skin was leprous— it had become as white as snow.

So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

For out of the heart come evil thoughts— murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders.“ I have sinned,” he said,“ for I have betrayed innocent blood.”“ What is that to us?” they replied.“ That’s your responsibility.”So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

The Lord detests the thoughts of the wicked, but gracious words are pure in his sight.
