But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire God’s gift with money!

彼得說：「你的銀子和你一同滅亡吧！因你想神的恩賜是可以用錢買的。

彼得責備他說：「你和你的錢都一同毀滅吧！因為你以為可以用錢買上帝的恩賜！

彼得對他說：“你的銀子跟你一同滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜，是可以用錢買的。

彼得對他說：『你的銀子跟你一同滅亡！因為你以為上帝白白的恩是可以用錢買得來的。

彼得對他說：「你的銀子和你一起滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜可以用錢買到！

彼得謂之曰、爾金與爾偕亡、因爾意上帝之賜、可以金而獲也、

彼得曰、金與汝偕亡、爾意上帝之賜、可以金市耶、

彼得謂之曰、爾之金與爾偕亡、因爾意天主之賜、以金可購也、

伯鐸祿曰：『願爾與金偕亡！爾思以金錢易取天主之恩賜乎？

Peter answered:“ May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!

Peter answered,“ May your money be destroyed with you! Do you think you can buy God’s gift with money?

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter replied,“ May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire the gift of God with money!

But Peter said to him,“ Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought the gift of God could be obtained with money!

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

But Peter said to him,“ May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

But Daniel replied to the king,“ Keep your gifts, and give your rewards to someone else! However, I will read the writing for the king and make known its interpretation.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Peter said to them,“ Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The merchants who sold these things, who got rich from her, will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment. They will weep and mourn,

Your gold and silver have rusted and their rust will be a witness against you. It will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have hoarded treasure!

Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that he may perhaps forgive you for the intent of your heart.

Their eyes, full of adultery, never stop sinning; they entice unstable people. They have trained their hearts for greed, these cursed children!By forsaking the right path they have gone astray, because they followed the way of Balaam son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness,yet was rebuked for his own transgression( a dumb donkey, speaking with a human voice, restrained the prophet’s madness).These men are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm, for whom the utter depths of darkness have been reserved.

Be careful lest you entertain the wicked thought that the seventh year, the year of cancellation of debts, has almost arrived, and your attitude be wrong toward your impoverished fellow Israelite and you do not lend him anything; he will cry out to the LORD against you and you will be regarded as having sinned.

“ I will send it out,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and it will enter the house of the thief and of the person who swears falsely in my name. It will land in the middle of his house and destroy both timber and stones.”

You must not bring any abhorrent thing into your house and thereby become an object of divine wrath along with it. You must absolutely detest and abhor it, for it is an object of divine wrath.

The one who builds his house by unjust gain is as good as dead. He does this so he can build his nest way up high and escape the clutches of disaster.Your schemes will bring shame to your house. Because you destroyed many nations, you will self-destruct.

“ Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and without cost!

( Now this man Judas acquired a field with the reward of his unjust deed, and falling headfirst he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out.

Then Joshua and all Israel took Achan, son of Zerah, along with the silver, the robe, the bar of gold, his sons, daughters, ox, donkey, sheep, tent, and all that belonged to him and brought them up to the Valley of Disaster.Joshua said,“ Why have you brought disaster on us? The LORD will bring disaster on you today!” All Israel stoned him to death.( They also stoned and burned the others.)

He and his entire entourage returned to the prophet. Naaman came and stood before him. He said,“ For sure I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now, please accept a gift from your servant.”But Elisha replied,“ As certainly as the LORD lives( whom I serve), I will take nothing from you.” Naaman insisted that he take it, but he refused.

The circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were greatly astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles,

Elisha replied,“ I was there in spirit when a man turned and got down from his chariot to meet you. This is not the proper time to accept silver or to accept clothes, olive groves, vineyards, sheep, cattle, and male and female servants.Therefore Naaman’s skin disease will afflict you and your descendants forever!” When Gehazi went out from his presence, his skin was as white as snow.

Therefore if God gave them the same gift as he also gave us after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder God?”

For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

Those who long to be rich, however, stumble into temptation and a trap and many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

Now when Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus had been condemned, he regretted what he had done and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders,saying,“ I have sinned by betraying innocent blood!” But they said,“ What is that to us? You take care of it yourself!”So Judas threw the silver coins into the temple and left. Then he went out and hanged himself.

The LORD abhors the plans of the wicked, but pleasant words are pure.
