從這日起，耶路撒冷的教會大遭逼迫，除了使徒以外，門徒都分散在猶太和撒馬利亞各處。

又知道所賜給我的恩典，那稱為教會柱石的雅各、磯法、約翰，就向我和巴拿巴用右手行相交之禮，叫我們往外邦人那裏去，他們往受割禮的人那裏去。

打發我們的兄弟在基督福音上作神執事的提摩太前去，堅固你們，並在你們所信的道上勸慰你們，

為此，我們也不住地感謝神，因你們聽見我們所傳神的道就領受了；不以為是人的道，乃以為是神的道。這道實在是神的，並且運行在你們信主的人心中。

並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣出於不義的詭詐；因他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。

使徒和在猶太的眾弟兄聽說外邦人也領受了神的道。

申初禱告的時候，彼得、約翰上聖殿去。有一個人，生來是瘸腿的，天天被人擡來，放在殿的一個門口（那門名叫美門），要求進殿的人賙濟。他看見彼得、約翰將要進殿，就求他們賙濟。

撒在好地上的，就是人聽道明白了，後來結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。」

棄絕我、不領受我話的人，有審判他的－就是我所講的道在末日要審判他。

耶穌打發彼得、約翰，說：「你們去為我們預備逾越節的筵席，好叫我們吃。」

這地方的人賢於帖撒羅尼迦的人，甘心領受這道，天天考查聖經，要曉得這道是與不是。

於是領受他話的人就受了洗。那一天，門徒約添了三千人，

那些因司提反的事遭患難四散的門徒直走到腓尼基和塞浦路斯，並安提阿；他們不向別人講道，只向猶太人講。但內中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他們到了安提阿也向希臘人傳講主耶穌。主與他們同在，信而歸主的人就很多了。這風聲傳到耶路撒冷教會人的耳中，他們就打發巴拿巴出去，走到安提阿為止。

到了耶路撒冷，教會和使徒並長老都接待他們，他們就述說神同他們所行的一切事。
