伯鐸祿曰：『各宜悔悟、奉耶穌基督之名受洗、以滌罪愆、以受聖神。

蓋自其受難以後、其復活之證、不一而足、現形於其徒者凡四十日、為之闡述天主之國。

爾其往勸萬民、服膺聖教、因父及子及聖神之名、為之行洗。

多有納其言而受洗者、一日之內、歸化者約三千人、

此事實為洗禮之前影。洗禮者爾曹之所由濟渡也。非滌肉身之垢穢、乃憑耶穌基督之復活、而致良心之純潔、以事天主。

雖然、在主懷中、男不可離女而獨立、女亦不可離男而獨立；

斐理伯乃啟口、即以此經發端、為傳耶穌福音、遵路而行、至有水處、宦者曰：『是地有泉、何妨受洗、』斐理伯曰：『爾如篤信之則可。』對曰：『我信耶穌基督為天主聖子。』命停輿、偕入水、斐理伯為施洗；

我向在爾中宣揚天國、今而後吾知爾等不得重睹吾顏矣。

推雅推喇婦呂底亞者、市布為業、夙敬天主、既聆大道、主復啟迪其衷、命於葆樂所言、悉心領受。呂底亞既率家人受洗；乃請曰：『爾如信吾誠意歸主、則請駕止吾宅。』盛情難卻、遂強留焉。

男女信者日盛；

於是乃囑之曰：『爾曹當徧歷寰宇、宣福音於普天生靈。凡信而受洗者得救、不信者遭譴。

蓋中心信之、所以成義；口角傳之、所以蒙恩也。

毅然闡揚天主之國、教人以主耶穌基督之真諦妙理、沛然而莫之能禦。亦未有人為之阻礙者。

故無論猶太人也、希臘人也、奴也主也、男也女也、悉在基督耶穌之身、融為一體矣。

惟其中亦有居比路及古利奈人。既至安提阿、乃向希臘人傳揚主耶穌之福音。

乃以主道示之、及其家人。當夜獄吏為二人濯傷、即率家人受洗；且迎之於家、具餐以待、咸以奉信天主、神樂洋溢。天既曙、有司遣隸傳語、釋此二人。

遣其宣揚天主國、施醫濟眾、

勸化猶太及希臘人士、悔過自新、歸向天主、信賴吾主耶穌基督。

耶穌曰：『任彼死者葬死者、爾但宣揚天主國。』

司會基立司布舉家信主、格林多人聞之信而受洗者亦眾。
