这样，主耶稣对他们说完话以后，就被接到天上，坐在神的右边。

这话使全体会众都喜悦，于是选出了司提反——他是一个充满信仰和圣灵的人，还有腓利、普罗克罗、尼卡诺、提门、帕米纳，以及入犹太教的安提阿人尼古拉斯。

他是神荣耀的光辉，是神本体的真像，以自己大能的话语托住万有。他成就了洁净罪孽的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右边。

以上所说的要点是：我们有这样的一位大祭司，已经坐在诸天之上至尊者的宝座右边，

于是他们都被圣灵充满，就照着圣灵赐给他们的话，开始说出别种语言。

以赛亚说了这些话，是因为看见了耶稣的荣耀，就讲论他的事。

因为那吩咐“要有光从黑暗里照耀出来”的神，已经照耀了我们的心，为要发出神荣耀的知识之光——这光就在耶稣基督的脸上。

司提反满有恩惠和能力，在民间行了许多大奇事和神迹。

乌西雅王驾崩的那年，我看见主坐在至高至尊的宝座上，他衣袍的下摆遮满了圣殿。撒拉弗侍立在他的上方，各有六个翅膀；用两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔。他们彼此呼喊说：“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！万军之耶和华！他的荣耀充满全地。”

所以弟兄们，要从你们当中挑选七个有好名声、充满圣灵和智慧的人；我们就委任他们统管这事务。

可是扫罗，也就是保罗，被圣灵充满，注视着以路摩，说：“哦，你这个充满一切诡诈、一切奸恶的人哪！魔鬼的儿子，一切公义的仇敌！你歪曲主的正道，还不停止吗？

这些事以后，我观看，看哪，天上有一个敞开的门。我先前所听见的，那如同号角对我说话的声音就说：“你上到这里来！我要把此后必须发生的事指示给你。”我立刻就在灵里了，看哪，有一个宝座安放在天上，有一位坐在宝座上。坐着的那一位，看起来仿佛碧玉和红宝石；又有一道彩虹围着宝座，看起来仿佛绿宝石。

因为耶和华站在贫穷人的右边，要拯救他脱离那些定他死罪的人。耶和华对我主宣告：“你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌作你的脚凳。”

但司提反以智慧和圣灵说话，他们就抵挡不住。

我知道一个在基督里的人，他十四年前被提到第三层天上。他是否在身体里，我不知道；是否在身体外，我也不知道；只有神知道。不过我知道这样一个人——他是否在身体里，还是在身体外，我都不知道，只有神知道——他被提到乐园里去，听见了无法描述的话语，是人不可以说出来的。

正当耶稣离去，他们注目望天的时候，忽然有两个身穿白衣的人站在他们旁边，说：“各位加利利人哪，你们为什么站在这里望着天呢？这位从你们中间被接到天上去的耶稣，将来也要这样回来，就像你们看到他升天那样。”

我如果去为你们预备了地方，就会再来，接你们到我那里，好使我在哪里，你们也能在哪里。

这城有神的荣耀，她的光辉仿佛极贵重的宝石，如同碧玉，清澈如水晶。

那时，彼得被圣灵充满，对他们说：“民众的首领和长老们，

他从父神领受尊贵和荣耀的时候，从那威严的荣耀中，有这样的声音向他传来，说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。”
