“ You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit. As your ancestors did, you do also.

“你们这硬着颈项，心与耳未受割礼的人哪，时常抗拒圣灵！你们的祖宗怎样，你们也怎样。

“你们这些顽固不化、耳不听心不悔的人，经常抗拒圣灵，所作所为和你们的祖先如出一辙！

“你们颈项刚硬、心和耳都未受割礼的人哪！你们时常抗拒圣灵，你们的祖先怎样，你们也怎样。

“你们这些顽固不化、心和耳都未受割礼的人哪，你们总是抗拒圣灵！你们的祖先怎样，你们也怎样。

「你們這硬着頸項、心與耳未受割禮的人，常時抗拒聖靈！你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

「你們這硬着頸項，心與耳未受割禮的人哪，時常抗拒聖靈！你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

「你們這硬着頸項，心與耳未受割禮的人哪，時常抗拒聖靈！你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

「你們這些頑固不化、耳不聽心不悔的人，經常抗拒聖靈，所作所為和你們的祖先如出一轍！

“你們頸項剛硬、心和耳都未受割禮的人哪！你們時常抗拒聖靈，你們的祖先怎樣，你們也怎樣。

『頸項剛硬、心與耳沒受割禮的人哪，你們永遠抗拒聖靈；你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

「你們這些頑固不化、心和耳都未受割禮的人哪，你們總是抗拒聖靈！你們的祖先怎樣，你們也怎樣。

爾曹強項、心與耳未受割者、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦行之、

爾強項塞心充耳之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦若是、

言曰、爾強項、心不悟、耳不聰之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖如是、爾曹亦如是、

爾等頑固強項、何曾心領割禮、而信奉教義。居常拂逆聖神、與爾列祖行同一轍。

“ You stiff- necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

“ You stubborn people! You won’t obey! You won’t listen! You are just like your people of long ago! You always oppose the Holy Spirit!

“ You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.

“ You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!

“ You men who are stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did.

“ You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit: as your fathers did, so do ye.

“ You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit; as your ancestors did, so do you.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers[ did], so[ do] ye.

“ You stubborn people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit, like your ancestors did!

“ You stiff- necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

and I acted with hostility toward them and brought them into the land of their enemies— and when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,

Therefore, circumcise your hearts and don’t be stiff-necked any longer.

For the LORD said to Moses,“ Tell the Israelites: You are a stiff-necked people. If I went up with you for a single moment, I would destroy you. Now take off your jewelry, and I will decide what to do with you.”

The LORD also said to Moses,“ I have seen this people, and they are indeed a stiff-necked people.

But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he became their enemy and fought against them.

Circumcise yourselves to the LORD; remove the foreskin of your hearts, men of Judah and residents of Jerusalem. Otherwise, my wrath will break out like fire and burn with no one to extinguish it because of your evil deeds.

And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by him for the day of redemption.

Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go up with you because you are a stiff-necked people; otherwise, I might destroy you on the way.”

Then they would not be like their ancestors, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not loyal and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, boast in Christ Jesus, and do not put confidence in the flesh—

The LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love him with all your heart and all your soul so that you will live.

Circumcision benefits you if you observe the law, but if you are a lawbreaker, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

You were also circumcised in him with a circumcision not done with hands, by putting off the body of flesh, in the circumcision of Christ,

For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, and true circumcision is not something visible in the flesh.On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart— by the Spirit, not the letter. That person’s praise is not from people but from God.

You were patient with them for many years, and your Spirit warned them through your prophets, but they would not listen. Therefore, you handed them over to the surrounding peoples.

Who can I speak to and give such a warning that they will listen? Look, their ear is uncircumcised, so they cannot pay attention. See, the word of the LORD has become contemptible to them— they find no pleasure in it.

For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you are rebelling against the LORD now, while I am still alive, how much more will you rebel after I am dead!

“ But the one who was mistreating his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying: Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us?

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, may enter my sanctuary, not even a foreigner who is among the Israelites.

“ The patriarchs became jealous of Joseph and sold him into Egypt, but God was with him

Our ancestors were unwilling to obey him. Instead, they pushed him aside, and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.

But they were unable to stand up against his wisdom and the Spirit by whom he was speaking.

When you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in both heart and flesh, to occupy my sanctuary, you defiled my temple while you offered my food— the fat and the blood. You broke my covenant by all your detestable practices.

But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder; they closed their ears so they could not hear.They made their hearts like a rock so as not to obey the law or the words that the LORD of Armies had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore intense anger came from the LORD of Armies.

So you testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up, then, the measure of your ancestors’ sins!“ Snakes! Brood of vipers! How can you escape being condemned to hell?

Do not lift up your horn against heaven or speak arrogantly.’”

Understand that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

They wouldn’t listen or pay attention but became obstinate, not listening or accepting discipline.

Because I know that you are stubborn, and your neck is iron and your forehead bronze,

But our ancestors acted arrogantly; they became stiff-necked and did not listen to your commands.

The descendants are obstinate and hardhearted. I am sending you to them, and you must say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says.’

The LORD also said to me,‘ I have seen this people, and indeed, they are a stiff-necked people.

Don’t become obstinate now like your ancestors did. Give your allegiance to the LORD, and come to his sanctuary that he has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God so that he may turn his burning anger away from you,

Then he said,“ My Lord, if I have indeed found favor with you, my Lord, please go with us( even though this is a stiff-necked people), forgive our iniquity and our sin, and accept us as your own possession.”

“‘ Look, the days are coming— this is the LORD’s declaration— when I will punish all the circumcised yet uncircumcised:Egypt, Judah, Edom, the Ammonites, Moab, and all the inhabitants of the desert who clip the hair on their temples. All these nations are uncircumcised, and the whole house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.’”

“ This Moses, whom they rejected when they said, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?— this one God sent as a ruler and a deliverer through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
