天主乃棄置之、任彼奉事天上之日月星辰、此正如先知書所記曰：嗚呼義塞之家室、率彼曠野四十春。何曾貢我以祭品、何曾獻我以犧牲。

故上帝聽其心之嗜慾、淪於污穢、互辱其身、夫恆久所當頌美者上帝也、乃人棄真尚偽、崇奉受造之物、不崇奉造化之主、是以上帝聽其縱慾污行、婦女以順性之用、變為逆性之施、男子亦然、棄婦女順性之用、嗜慾灼爍、男與男作愧恥之事、身受悖戾當得之報、彼既不以上帝存於中、上帝聽其喪心、行所不當行、

以色列族我民兮、弗聽從弗柔順兮、余任其桀驁、聽其縱欲兮。

斯民違逆、使聖神懷憂、故耶和華視若讎民、而攻擊之。

如爾違耶和華、事他上帝、則祐爾之後、必反害爾、至於滅亡。

以法蓮族專事偶像、我始聽之、

爾仰觀天象、有日月星辰焉、恐爾迷眩、奉事崇拜之、天下億兆既行此、爾之上帝耶和華亦姑聽之、

我有命、彼不應、我有言、彼不從、在我前行惡事、我所不悅者、彼故為之、故我必降災、以彼所懼加其身。

其父希西家廢諸崇坵、馬拿西復建之、築祭壇、宗巴力、作偶像、從以色列王亞哈所為、崇拜天象、而服事焉。

我見日月輝光、心不搖惑、手不接吻以為禮、恐違至上之上帝、為士師所罰。

棄其上帝耶和華之命、鑄二金犢、樹立木偶、崇拜天象、奉事巴力、

論及經語、如今日爾願聽從我言、勿剛愎乃心、如昔民之抵觸我、聽而抵觸者誰、非從摩西出埃及之眾乎、上帝於四十載中憾誰、非犯罪而暴骨於野者乎、

歷四十載、我憾當時之人曰、厥心常迷、不識余途兮。

爾祖歷四十載、視我行事、亦嘗試我、

凡以色列族、及旅其中之異邦人、背我而奉偶像、中則崇敬之、外則瞻禮之、自陷於惡、後就先知諮諏於我、我耶和華必罰之、降災於其身、絕之於民中、為人作歌譏刺、使知我乃耶和華。

服事崇拜他上帝、或日月、或天象、為我所禁者。

彼從不善之例、失保生之法、我聽其然、

遂導我入耶和華殿內院、我見門內廡下祭壇之間、有二十五人、背耶和華殿、東向拜日、

率民出其地、行奇事異跡於埃及、紅海、曠野、四十年、○

不燔犧羊、不獻祭祀、不焚香品、不奉禮物。吾所使爾供役者、非以重任加爾也、

詭詐百出、自棄者為所惑、蓋彼不願受真理致得救、為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、使不信真理、悅不義者、悉定厥罪、
