“ This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel,‘ The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.’

「這個人就是摩西，他曾告訴以色列子民：『神將要從你們兄弟中給你們興起一位先知，像興起我一樣。』

曾語以色列眾子曰、上帝將於爾兄弟中、挺生先知若我者、即此摩西也、

謂以色列人、曰、主、爾上帝將於爾昆弟中、挺生先知若我、爾必聽之、

此摩西曾語以色列人云、主爾之天主、將於爾兄弟中、挺生一先知若我者、爾宜聽之、

又謂義塞人曰：「天主將於爾兄弟中、立一先知、正如立我者、」即此摩西也。

“ This is the Moses who told the Israelites,‘ God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your own people.’

For Moses truly said to the fathers,‘ The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Pilate therefore said to Him,“ Are You a king then?” Jesus answered,“ You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.Then Peter answered and said to Jesus,“ Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

“ This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us,

And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

And a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

So they answered and said before the king,“ That Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, does not show due regard for you, O king, or for the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

Now in the time of his distress King Ahaz became increasingly unfaithful to the Lord. This is that King Ahaz.
