我民在埃及者、我見其苦、常聞嘅歎之聲、故臨拯之、往哉、我遣爾之埃及也、

我誠見吾民在埃及之苦、且聞其慨歎、故臨以拯之、今來、吾將遣爾入埃及也、

我民在伊及、我見其困苦、聞其歎息、故我降臨以救之、今爾來、我遣爾往伊及、

吾民在埃及備受酷虐、苦楚萬狀、余已目睹、並聞其呼籲與悲嗟之聲、故余乃降臨而振救之、使出於水火之中。來、余將遣汝仍返埃及。」

I have indeed seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their groaning and have come down to set them free. Now come, I will send you back to Egypt.’

耶和華曰、我鑒吾民、受苦於埃及、人督其役、上籲於我、惟我聽聞、知其殷憂。我降臨以拯之、脫於埃及人手、導出其境、以詣至腴至廣之地、其地產乳與蜜、即迦南人、赫人、亞摩哩人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人所處者。埃及人虐遇以色列族、其籲上聞於我、我已鑒之。今將遣爾見法老、導我民以色列族、出於埃及。

民逢禍患、主聞其籲、復加眷顧兮、

歷年既久、埃及王薨、以色列族因服役良苦、太息號呼、聲聞於上帝。上帝聞之、追念素與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立之約、故眷顧以色列族、特垂念焉。

我降自天、非行己意、乃遣我者之意、

上帝曰、我自有而恆有、爾當告以色列族曰、自有者遣我。

我之列祖於埃及、備受艱辛、爾鑒之、在紅海籲呼、爾聞之、

今我臨格、監其動作、實如所聞、設有不若是者、我亦能知。○

人未有升天者、惟人子由天而降、依然在天、○

民篤信之、既聞耶和華眷顧以色列族、矜其患難、無不稽首崇拜、

耶和華臨格、觀眾所築之邑臺、

耶和華既挺生士師、則祐彼拯民出敵手、至終其世、蓋民罹暴虐、號呼以籲、故耶和華中心惻焉。

蓋耶和華以斯民為赤子、不敢違逆、故耶和華為其救主。民遭患難、主懷憂戚、自天遣使、以拯其災、特加眷愛、以贖其身、自昔迄今、扶翼之者屢矣。

昔我導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役、遣摩西、亞倫、米哩暗、訓迪爾曹、

以色列族曰、我已犯罪、任爾譴責、惟祈今日得救為幸。遂去他上帝、事耶和華。耶和華見以色列族困苦、則中心愀然。

今埃及人使以色列族服役、而號呼、升聞於我、我念前約。爾告以色列族曰、我乃耶和華將拯爾於埃及人、釋爾負戴、罷爾役事、降災以譴爾敵、施能以贖爾身。

摩西為其臣僕、亞倫為其遴選、上帝特遣之兮、

後我耶和華使先知導以色列族出埃及、扞護斯民、

耶和華兮、爾擘天雲而臨格、履山岡而燄起兮、

望爾闢穹蒼而臨格、山嶽震動。

我將臨格、偕爾晤言、取爾所感之神、賦之於彼使同任民事、免爾獨勞。

我儕臨格、淆其言語、使彼此不通。
