‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.

唯獨我但以理看到了這異象，那些與我在一起的人卻沒有看到這異象，但是有極大的恐懼落在他們身上，他們就逃走躲藏了。因此，唯獨剩下我一人看到了這極大的異象；我裡面一點力氣都沒有，我的臉色變得如同死灰，我的力氣也留存不住，

看哪，耶和華站在梯子上方，說：「我是耶和華，你父親亞伯拉罕的神、以撒的神。我必把你現在躺臥之地，賜給你和你的後裔。你的後裔必如同地上的塵土；你必向東南西北擴展；地上萬族都必因你和你的後裔而蒙福。看哪，我與你同在！你無論往哪裡去，我都會保守你，並且要把你帶回這地。我必不離棄你，直到成就了我對你所說的。」雅各從睡眠中醒過來，說：「耶和華確實在這地方，我竟然不知道！」他就害怕起來，說：「這地方真可畏！這裡一定是神的殿，天的門。」

約瑟對他的兄弟們說：「我就要死了，但神必定眷顧你們，還要把你們從這地帶上去，到他起誓要給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地去。」

但如今，他們所嚮往的是一個更美好的，就是在天上的家鄉。因此，神被稱為「他們的神」並不以為恥；原來他已經為他們預備了一座城。

他仆倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：「掃羅，掃羅！你為什麼逼迫我？」他問：「主啊，你到底是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。你起來，進城去！有人會告訴你應該做什麼。」

在聖者的會中，他是大受敬畏的神；他比他四圍的一切都更可畏。

西門彼得看見，就俯伏在耶穌腳前，說：「主啊，離開我吧，因為我是個罪人！」

亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神，也就是我們祖先的神，已經榮耀了他的僕人耶穌。你們竟然把他交出去，並且在彼拉多判定要釋放他的時候，在彼拉多面前拒絕了他。

烏西雅王駕崩的那年，我看見主坐在至高至尊的寶座上，他衣袍的下擺遮滿了聖殿。撒拉弗侍立在他的上方，各有六個翅膀；用兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔。他們彼此呼喊說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！萬軍之耶和華！他的榮耀充滿全地。」因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿裡充滿了煙雲。那時我說：「我有禍了，我要滅亡了！因為我是個嘴唇不潔淨的人，住在嘴唇不潔淨的民眾當中；又因為我親眼看見了大君王萬軍之耶和華。」

門徒們聽見了，就把臉伏在地上，極其懼怕。

我一看見他，就仆倒在他的腳前，像死人那樣。他把右手放在我身上，說：「不要怕！我就是首先的，是末後的，
