「予乃汝列祖之天主、亞伯漢之天主、意灑格之天主、雅各伯之天主。」摩西惶怖戰慄、不敢仰視。

‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.

‘ I am the God of your fathers. I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’( Exodus 3:6) Moses shook with fear. He didn’t dare to look.

‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and did not dare to look.

‘ I am the God of your ancestors— the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses shook with terror and did not dare to look.

‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses shook with fear and did not dare to look closely.

saying,‘ I am the God of your fathers— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and dared not look.

I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob. And Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

I am the God of your fathers— the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob. So Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look.

[ Saying], I[ am] the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

‘ I am the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look more closely.

‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ Moses trembled, and dared not look.

Then he continued,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

Only I, Daniel, saw the vision. The men who were with me did not see it, but a great terror fell on them, and they ran and hid.I was left alone, looking at this great vision. No strength was left in me; my face grew deathly pale, and I was powerless.

fear and trembling came over me and made all my bones shake.

When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. Suddenly, a voice came to him and said,“ What are you doing here, Elijah?”

But he added,“ You cannot see my face, for humans cannot see me and live.”

My heart pounds at this and leaps from my chest.Just listen to his thunderous voice and the rumbling that comes from his mouth.

“ This will take place,” he continued,“ so that they will believe that the LORD, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

The LORD was standing there beside him, saying,“ I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your offspring the land on which you are lying.Your offspring will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out toward the west, the east, the north, and the south. All the peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.Look, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. I will bring you back to this land, for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he said,“ Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”He was afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

God also said to Moses,“ Say this to the Israelites: The LORD, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will certainly come to your aid and bring you up from this land to the land he swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

But they now desire a better place— a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul said.“ I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting,” he replied.“ But get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

God is greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, more awe-inspiring than all who surround him.

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’s knees and said,“ Go away from me, because I’m a sinful man, Lord!”

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you handed over and denied before Pilate, though he had decided to release him.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne, and the hem of his robe filled the temple.Seraphim were standing above him; they each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew.And one called to another: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Armies; his glory fills the whole earth.The foundations of the doorways shook at the sound of their voices, and the temple was filled with smoke.Then I said: Woe is me for I am ruined because I am a man of unclean lips and live among a people of unclean lips, and because my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Armies.

I had heard reports about you, but now my eyes have seen you.Therefore, I reject my words and am sorry for them; I am dust and ashes.

When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown and were terrified.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me and said,“ Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
