那欺負鄰舍的人把他推開，說：『誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官呢？

那欺負鄰舍的人把他推開，說：『誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官呢？

不料那個欺負人的推開摩西說，『誰立你作我們的首領和審判官？

那欺負鄰舍的卻把他推開說：「誰設立你做官長和審判員來管我們呢？

「但那欺負同伴的人把摩西推開，說：『誰委任你做我們的首領和審判官呢？

枉其鄰者拒之、曰、誰立爾為有司刑官以治我乎、

其不義者拒摩西曰、誰立爾為有司刑官、以治我乎、

其不義者拒摩西曰、誰立爾為有司刑官、以治我乎、

而彼欺凌其鄰者嚴拒之曰：「孰令長吾而為司讞？

“ But the man who was mistreating the other pushed Moses aside and said,‘ Who made you ruler and judge over us?

“ But the man who was treating the other one badly pushed Moses to one side. He said,‘ Who made you ruler and judge over us?

But the man who was wronging his neighbor thrust him aside, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

“ But the man in the wrong pushed Moses aside.‘ Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ he asked.

“ But the one who was mistreating his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying: Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us?

But the one who was injuring his neighbor pushed him away, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge over us?

But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

But he that did his neighbor wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

“ But the one who was mistreating his neighbor pushed him away, saying: Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us?

But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?

This same Moses they had rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and judge?’ God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

But Jesus said to him,“ Man, who made me a judge or arbitrator between you two?”

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our forefathers, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you handed over and rejected in the presence of Pilate after he had decided to release him.But you rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a man who was a murderer be released to you.You killed the Originator of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this fact we are witnesses!

Jesus replied,“ My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my servants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish authorities. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.”Then Pilate said,“ So you are a king!” Jesus replied,“ You say that I am a king. For this reason I was born, and for this reason I came into the world– to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”

Your servant has found favor with you, and you have shown me great kindness by sparing my life. But I am not able to escape to the mountains because this disaster will overtake me and I’ll die.

Now after Jesus entered the temple courts, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching and said,“ By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?”

Our ancestors were unwilling to obey him, but pushed him aside and turned back to Egypt in their hearts,

After making Peter and John stand in their midst, they began to inquire,“ By what power or by what name did you do this?”

But one of the servants told Nabal’s wife Abigail,“ David sent messengers from the desert to greet our lord, but he screamed at them.These men were very good to us. They did not insult us, nor did we sustain any loss during the entire time we were together in the field.

When they heard these things, they became furious and ground their teeth at him.

Whoever corrects a mocker is asking for insult; whoever reproves a wicked person receives abuse.Do not reprove a mocker or he will hate you; reprove a wise person and he will love you.

From this point on, Pilate tried to release him. But the Jewish leaders shouted out,“ If you release this man, you are no friend of Caesar! Everyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar!”When Pilate heard these words he brought Jesus outside and sat down on the judgment seat in the place called“ The Stone Pavement”( Gabbatha in Aramaic).( Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover, about noon.) Pilate said to the Jewish leaders,“ Look, here is your king!”Then they shouted out,“ Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate asked,“ Shall I crucify your king?” The high priests replied,“ We have no king except Caesar!”

Now when they heard this, they became furious and wanted to execute them.

This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, that has become the cornerstone.And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved.”
