以色列的兒子們加入了買糧的行列，因為迦南也鬧饑荒。

祂在那裡降下饑荒，斷絕一切食物的供應。

我可以奉養他，以免他和全家老少及僕婢牲畜都陷入絕境，因為還有五年的饑荒。』
