Now the high priest said,“ Are these things so?”

大祭司就说：“这些事果然有吗？”

大祭司说：“果真有这些事吗？”

大祭司说：“果真有这些事吗？”

大祭司问：“这是真的吗？”

大祭司说：“真有这些事吗？”

大祭司问司提反：“真有这些事吗？”

大祭司就說：「這些事果然有嗎？」

大祭司說：「果真有這些事嗎？」

大祭司說：「果真有這些事嗎？」

大祭司問：「這是真的嗎？」

大祭司說：“真有這些事嗎？”

大祭司說：『果真有這些事麼？』

大祭司問司提反：「真有這些事嗎？」

大祭司曰、斯事然乎、司提反曰、

祭司長問士提反曰、果有是乎、

大祭司問司提反曰、果有是乎、

大司祭審問曰：『有此事乎？』

Then the high priest asked Stephen,“ Are these charges true?”

Then the high priest questioned Stephen.“ Is what these people are saying true?” he asked.

And the high priest said,“ Are these things so?”

Then the high priest asked Stephen,“ Are these accusations true?”

“ Are these things true?” the high priest asked.

Then the high priest said,“ Are these things so?”

And the high priest said, Are these things so?

“ Is this true?” the high priest asked.

Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

Then the high priest said,“ Are these things true?”

The high priest said,“ Are these things so?”

“ We heard Him say,‘ I will destroy this temple that was made by hands, and in three days I will build another, made without hands.’ ”And not even in this respect was their testimony consistent.And then the high priest stood up and came forward and questioned Jesus, saying,“ Do You not offer any answer for what these men are testifying against You?”

The high priest then questioned Jesus about His disciples, and about His teaching.Jesus answered him,“ I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in synagogues and in the temple area, where all the Jews congregate; and I said nothing in secret.Why are you asking Me? Ask those who have heard what I spoke to them. Look: these people know what I said.”

and said,“ This man stated,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and to rebuild it in three days.’ ”The high priest stood up and said to Him,“ Do You offer no answer for what these men are testifying against You?”

They put forward false witnesses who said,“ This man does not stop speaking against this holy place and the Law;for we have heard him say that this Nazarene, Jesus, will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses handed down to us.”

Therefore Pilate entered the Praetorium again, and summoned Jesus and said to Him,“ You are the King of the Jews?”Jesus answered,“ Are you saying this on your own, or did others tell you about Me?”Pilate answered,“ I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests handed You over to me; what have You done?”
