但是不信的猶太人卻激起了又毒壞了外國人的心來害弟兄們。

既把使徒帶到了，就叫他們站在議院中。大祭司詰問他們說：

但是猶太人卻起了妒忌的心，招聚些市井惡人，搭夥成羣，轟亂那城，闖進耶孫的家，想法子要將保羅西拉帶交民眾。找不着他們，就把耶孫和幾個弟兄拖到眾城官那裏，呼喊着說：『這些攪亂天下的也到這裏來了！

但帖撒羅尼迦的猶太人知道上帝之道也在庇哩亞給保羅傳布開了，也就往那裏去，搖動羣眾，攪亂他們。

那七天快要完的時候，有亞西亞的猶太人見保羅在殿裏，就激動所有的羣眾、下手拿他，

但猶太人卻挑唆虔敬的高貴婦女和城裏首要的人，激起了逼迫苦害保羅巴拿巴，將他們趕出境外。

使徒正對人民講話的時候、祭司長們和守殿官跟撒都該人忽然來了，很討厭使徒教訓人民，傳揚耶穌身上所發生的、那從死人中起來的復活，便下手拿住他們，放在拘留所裏，要等到第二天，因為天已經晚了。

但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄發怒的，必須擔受判罰；凡罵弟兄為「飯桶」的，必須擔受議院的判罰；凡罵弟兄為「傻瓜」的，必須擔受地獄的火。
