你們也不可抱怨，像他們中的有些人抱怨了，結果就被那毀滅者所滅。

或者，你們以為經上所說的「神使聖靈住在我們裡面，他愛我們到嫉妒的地步」是空話嗎？

應當算入寡婦之列的，不可小於六十歲；只做過一個男人的妻子；

不過一個寡婦如果有兒女或孫兒女，就應當讓他們先學會孝敬自己的家人，報答親恩，因為這在神面前是蒙悅納的。那真正的寡婦，無依無靠，已經把盼望寄託於神，日夜不住地祈求禱告；
