But Peter asked her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

彼得说：“你们为什么同心试探主的灵呢？埋葬你丈夫之人的脚已到门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得对她说：“你们为什么同谋来试探主的灵呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的脚已到门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得对她说：“你们为什么同谋来试探主的灵呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的脚已到门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得说：“你们二人怎么串通起来试探主的灵呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到门口了，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得说：“你们为什么串同试探主的灵呢？你看，埋你丈夫的人的脚，已经到了门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得就对她说：“你们为什么同心试探主的灵呢？看，埋葬你丈夫之人的脚，已经到门口了，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得說：「你們為甚麼同心試探主的靈呢？埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你擡出去。」

彼得對她說：「你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得對她說：「你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得說：「你們二人怎麼串通起來試探主的靈呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到門口了，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得說：“你們為甚麼串同試探主的靈呢？你看，埋你丈夫的人的腳，已經到了門口，他們也要把你抬出去。”

彼得對她說：『你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，那埋葬你丈夫的人的腳已經到門口，他們就要把你抬出去了。』

彼得就對她說：「你們為什麼同心試探主的靈呢？看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳，已經到門口了，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得曰、爾曹胡為協同試主之神乎、葬爾夫者之足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

彼得曰、爾曹曷與謀試主之神耶、葬爾夫者、足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

彼得曰、爾曹何為同謀、試主之神乎、葬爾夫者、其足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

伯鐸祿曰：『夫婦同謀、以試天主之神；葬爾夫者、足已及門、行將舁爾去矣！』

Peter said to her,“ How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”

Peter asked her,“ How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! You can hear the steps of the men who buried your husband. They are at the door. They will carry you out also.”

But Peter said to her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

And Peter said,“ How could the two of you even think of conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord like this? The young men who buried your husband are just outside the door, and they will carry you out, too.”

Then Peter said to her,“ Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Then Peter said to her,“ Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.”

Then Peter said to her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

But Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.

Then Peter said to her,“ Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband[ are] at the door, and shall carry thee out.

Peter then told her,“ Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness, and grieved him in the desert!They turned again and tempted God, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, and said,“ It is a people that errs in their heart. They have not known my ways.”Therefore I swore in my wrath,“ They won’t enter into my rest.”

They tempted God in their heart by asking food according to their desire.Yes, they spoke against God. They said,“ Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?Behold, he struck the rock, so that waters gushed out, and streams overflowed. Can he give bread also? Will he provide meat for his people?”

Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, and didn’t keep his testimonies,

because all those men who have seen my glory, and my signs, which I worked in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not listened to my voice;

Jesus said to him,“ Again, it is written,‘ You shall not test the Lord, your God.’”

Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.

Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him,“ Where are you?”The man said,“ I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; so I hid myself.”God said,“ Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”The man said,“ The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”Yahweh God said to the woman,“ What have you done?” The woman said,“ The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

He called him, and said to him,‘ What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.’

Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe; and the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.

Most certainly, the evil man will not be unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered.

If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying,“ Let’s go and serve other gods”— which you have not known, you, nor your fathers;of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near to you, or far off from you, from the one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth—you shall not consent to him nor listen to him; neither shall your eye pity him, neither shall you spare, neither shall you conceal him;

But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. Then the king sent a man from before him; but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders,“ Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent to take away my head? Behold, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold the door shut against him. Isn’t the sound of his master’s feet behind him?”

Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh: they shall certainly not be unpunished.

He called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because the children of Israel quarreled, and because they tested Yahweh, saying,“ Is Yahweh among us, or not?”

The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

Therefore the people quarreled with Moses, and said,“ Give us water to drink.” Moses said to them,“ Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test Yahweh?”

He said,“ The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though intending to inquire somewhat more accurately concerning him.Therefore don’t yield to them, for more than forty men lie in wait for him, who have bound themselves under a curse to neither eat nor drink until they have killed him. Now they are ready, looking for the promise from you.”So the commanding officer let the young man go, charging him,“ Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me.”

And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
