彼得说：“你们二人怎么串通起来试探主的灵呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到门口了，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得说：“你们为什么串同试探主的灵呢？你看，埋你丈夫的人的脚，已经到了门口，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得就对她说：“你们为什么同心试探主的灵呢？看，埋葬你丈夫之人的脚，已经到门口了，他们也要把你抬出去。”

彼得說：「你們為甚麼同心試探主的靈呢？埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你擡出去。」

彼得對她說：「你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得對她說：「你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳已到門口，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得說：「你們二人怎麼串通起來試探主的靈呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到門口了，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得對她說：『你們為甚麼同謀來試探主的靈呢？你看，那埋葬你丈夫的人的腳已經到門口，他們就要把你抬出去了。』

彼得就對她說：「你們為什麼同心試探主的靈呢？看，埋葬你丈夫之人的腳，已經到門口了，他們也要把你抬出去。」

彼得曰、爾曹胡為協同試主之神乎、葬爾夫者之足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

彼得曰、爾曹曷與謀試主之神耶、葬爾夫者、足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

彼得曰、爾曹何為同謀、試主之神乎、葬爾夫者、其足已及門、亦將舁爾出矣、

伯鐸祿曰：『夫婦同謀、以試天主之神；葬爾夫者、足已及門、行將舁爾去矣！』

Peter said to her,“ How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”

Peter asked her,“ How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! You can hear the steps of the men who buried your husband. They are at the door. They will carry you out also.”

But Peter said to her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

And Peter said,“ How could the two of you even think of conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord like this? The young men who buried your husband are just outside the door, and they will carry you out, too.”

Then Peter said to her,“ Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Then Peter said to her,“ Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.”

Then Peter said to her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

But Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.

Then Peter said to her,“ Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband[ are] at the door, and shall carry thee out.

Peter then told her,“ Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

But Peter asked her,“ How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

We should not test Christ, as some of them did— and were killed by snakes. (niv)

Then Peter said,“ Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.” (niv)

How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the wasteland!Again and again they put God to the test; they vexed the Holy One of Israel. (niv)

“ Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,where your ancestors tested me; they tried me, though they had seen what I did.For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said,‘ They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.’So I declared on oath in my anger,‘ They shall never enter my rest.’” (niv)

They willfully put God to the test by demanding the food they craved.They spoke against God; they said,“ Can God really spread a table in the wilderness?True, he struck the rock, and water gushed out, streams flowed abundantly, but can he also give us bread? Can he supply meat for his people?” (niv)

But they put God to the test and rebelled against the Most High; they did not keep his statutes. (niv)

not one of those who saw my glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness but who disobeyed me and tested me ten times— (niv)

So he called him in and asked him,‘ What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.’ (niv)

Both hands are skilled in doing evil; the ruler demands gifts, the judge accepts bribes, the powerful dictate what they desire— they all conspire together. (niv)

Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. (niv)

If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying,“ Let us go and worship other gods”( gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known,gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other),do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. (niv)

Now Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. The king sent a messenger ahead, but before he arrived, Elisha said to the elders,“ Don’t you see how this murderer is sending someone to cut off my head? Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door and hold it shut against him. Is not the sound of his master’s footsteps behind him?” (niv)

The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. (niv)

And he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the Lord saying,“ Is the Lord among us or not?” (niv)

Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him. (niv)

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. (niv)

So they quarreled with Moses and said,“ Give us water to drink.” Moses replied,“ Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the Lord to the test?” (niv)

He said:“ Some Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul before the Sanhedrin tomorrow on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about him.Don’t give in to them, because more than forty of them are waiting in ambush for him. They have taken an oath not to eat or drink until they have killed him. They are ready now, waiting for your consent to their request.”The commander dismissed the young man with this warning:“ Don’t tell anyone that you have reported this to me.” (niv)

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (niv)
