田未售、非爾田乎、既售、非爾金乎、心生此念何為、是爾非欺人、乃欺上帝也、

田未鬻、非屬爾乎、既鬻、其金非爾作主乎、心生此念何為、爾非欺人、乃欺天主、

田未鬻、非爾之所有乎？鬻而得銀、又非爾之所屬乎？今爾心懷譎詐、是誠何為？爾非欺人、直欺天主耳！』

Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land?

“ The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; but the one who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

Then Peter said to her,“ Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.”

Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man, but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

They conceive harm and give birth to wrongdoing, And their mind prepares deception.”

No one sues righteously and no one pleads honestly. They trust in confusion and speak lies; They conceive trouble and give birth to disaster.

Behold, an evil person is pregnant with injustice, And he conceives harm and gives birth to lies.

Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

gold for the things of gold and silver for the things of silver, that is, for all the work done by the craftsmen. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?”

You have no part or share in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.Therefore, repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart will be forgiven you.

Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.

Yes, it was written for our sake, because the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing in the crops.If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share from the altar?So also the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel.But I have used none of these things. And I have not written these things so that it will be done so in my case; for it would be better for me to die than that. No one shall make my boast an empty one!For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, for I am under compulsion; for woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a commission nonetheless.

but I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your goodness would not be, in effect, by compulsion, but of your own free will.

Now food will not bring us close to God; we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat.
