因為假基督和假先知將出現，行很大的神蹟奇事來迷惑人，如果可能，甚至要迷惑上帝揀選的子民。

不管別人用什麼詭計，你們都不要上當。因為那日子來臨之前，必有離經叛道的事發生，而那不法之徒，就是那註定滅亡的人也要出現。他會抵擋主，高抬自己超過一切所謂的神明和人們崇拜的對象，甚至坐在上帝的殿中以上帝自居！我還在你們那裡的時候，曾告訴過你們這些事，你們忘記了嗎？現在，你們知道是什麼攔阻他，使他等到特定的時間才出現。其實那不法之徒的陰謀已經在醞釀中，然而現在有一位在攔阻他。等到攔阻他的那位一離開，

許多人會效法他們邪惡無恥的行為，致使真理之道被人毀謗。

如果一個一無是處的人自以為了不起，他是自欺。

這些人滿腹牢騷，怨天尤人，放縱自己的邪情私慾。他們口出狂言，為了謀利而阿諛奉承他人。

「因此，如果有人對你們說，『看啊！基督在曠野』，你們不要出去；或者說，『看啊！基督在屋裡』，你們也不要相信。

至於那些德高望重的教會領袖，他們的地位對我來說無關緊要，因為上帝不以貌取人。他們對我所傳的並沒有增加什麼。

在她額上還寫了一個神秘的名號：「大巴比倫——地上淫婦及可憎事物之母」。
