We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation— which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard,God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

We are witnesses of everything he did both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they also killed, hanging him on a tree.God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.You are witnesses of these things.

This Jesus God raised up, to which we all are witnesses.

and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment;about sin, because they don’t believe in me;about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more;about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.“ I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine, and will declare it to you.

Peter said to them,“ Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

But Peter and the apostles answered,“ We must obey God rather than men.

But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

To them it was revealed, that they served not to themselves, but to you, in these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

This is the third time I am coming to you.“ At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”
