The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead— whom you killed by hanging him on a cross.

You had Jesus killed by nailing him to a cross. But the God of our people raised Jesus from the dead.

The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree.

We are witnesses of all the things that He did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross.

And though they found no grounds for putting Him to death, they asked Pilate that He be executed.When they had carried out everything that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a tomb.

And he said,‘ The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear a message from His mouth.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you handed over and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,but put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.

Just as He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his descendants forever.”

It is this Jesus whom God raised up, a fact to which we are all witnesses.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts to You;

that God has fulfilled this promise to those of us who are the descendants by raising Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm:‘ You are My Son; today I have fathered You.’

let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead— by this name this man stands here before you in good health.He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief cornerstone.

To show mercy to our fathers, And to remember His holy covenant,

God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.”

David went out to meet them, and said to them,“ If you come peacefully to help me, my heart shall be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look on it and decide.”
