But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back for yourself part of the proceeds from the sale of the land?

彼得就說：「阿納尼亞，為什麼撒旦充滿了你的心，使你對聖靈說謊，從田產的價款中私自留下一些呢？

彼得曰、亞拿尼亞乎、胡為撒但充爾心、以欺聖神、私留田值耶、

伯鐸祿曰：『亞拿尼亞爾何沙殫蒙心、私藏所得、以欺聖神乎？

Then Peter said,“ Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?

Then Peter said,“ Ananias, why did you let Satan fill your heart? He made you lie to the Holy Spirit. You have kept some of the money you received for the land.

But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

Then Peter said,“ Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself.

“ Ananias,” Peter asked,“ why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land?

But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land?

But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Then Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds from the field?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back[ part] of the price of the land?

But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Those who try to hide their plans from the LORD are as good as dead, who do their work in secret and boast,“ Who sees us? Who knows what we’re doing?”

Peter then told her,“ Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!”

“ Do you really think anyone can hide himself where I cannot see him?” the LORD asks.“ Do you not know that I am everywhere?” the LORD asks.

And after Judas took the piece of bread, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him,“ What you are about to do, do quickly.”

The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, that he should betray Jesus.

He kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

Then they say,“ The LORD does not see this; the God of Jacob does not take notice of it.”Take notice of this, you ignorant people! You fools, when will you ever understand?Does the one who makes the human ear not hear? Does the one who forms the human eye not see?

Before it was sold, did it not belong to you? And when it was sold, was the money not at your disposal? How have you thought up this deed in your heart? You have not lied to people but to God!”

Then Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve.

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.

But you have said,‘ What does God know? Does he judge through such deep darkness?

When you make a vow to God, do not delay in paying it. For God takes no pleasure in fools: Pay what you vow!

So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you.

If a man makes a vow to the LORD or takes an oath of binding obligation on himself, he must not break his word, but must do whatever he has promised.

When you make a vow to the LORD your God you must not delay in fulfilling it, for otherwise he will surely hold you accountable as a sinner.

So that huge dragon– the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world– was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,“ The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of his Christ, have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down.But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness,by fitting your feet with the preparation that comes from the good news of peace,and in all of this, by taking up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

The tempter came and said to him,“ If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.”But he answered,“ It is written,‘ Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”Then the devil took him to the holy city, had him stand on the highest point of the temple,and said to him,“ If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written,‘ He will command his angels concerning you’ and‘ with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”Jesus said to him,“ Once again it is written:‘ You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.’”Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur.And he said to him,“ I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship me.”Then Jesus said to him,“ Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘ You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”Then the devil left him, and angels came and began ministering to his needs.

( 12: 1) Ephraim has surrounded me with lies; the house of Israel has surrounded me with deceit. But Judah still roams about with God; he remains faithful to the Holy One.

When anyone hears the word about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches what was sown in his heart; this is the seed sown along the path.

Then a spirit stepped forward and stood before the LORD. He said,‘ I will deceive him.’ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’

So the LORD God said to the woman,“ What is this you have done?” And the woman replied,“ The serpent tricked me, and I ate.”The LORD God said to the serpent,“ Because you have done this, cursed are you above all the wild beasts and all the living creatures of the field! On your belly you will crawl and dust you will eat all the days of your life.And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”To the woman he said,“ I will greatly increase your labor pains; with pain you will give birth to children. You will want to control your husband, but he will dominate you.”But to Adam he said,“ Because you obeyed your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you,‘ You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground thanks to you; in painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

therefore you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?You who tell others not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

An adversary opposed Israel, inciting David to count how many warriors Israel had.David told Joab and the leaders of the army,“ Go, count the number of warriors from Beer Sheba to Dan. Then bring back a report to me so I may know how many we have.”Joab replied,“ May the LORD make his army a hundred times larger! My master, O king, do not all of them serve my master? Why does my master want to do this? Why bring judgment on Israel?”

It is a snare for a person to rashly cry,“ Holy!” and only afterward to consider what he has vowed.
