又曰、上帝國我儕何以比之、抑以何喻表之耶、猶芥種一粒、播於地、乃地上百種之至微者、既播而長、大於諸蔬、且發巨枝、飛鳥棲其蔭、○

於是祭司諸長與法利賽人會集曰、斯人多行異蹟、我儕若何、若容其如是、眾將信之、羅馬人必至、奪我土地人民矣、

當彼列王時、天上上帝必立一國、永不見滅、其權不歸他族、將毀前之諸國、而盡滅之、其國恆存弗替、爾見有石、自山鑿出、非由人手、擊碎鐵銅泥銀及金、斯乃惟皇上帝以未來之事示王、其夢實真、所解誠確、

詣祭司諸長及殿司、相議如何以耶穌付之、

斯二人將何以處之、蓋彼顯行異蹟、彰著於凡居耶路撒冷者、我儕不能言其無有也、惟免其廣播於民中、宜威嚇之、俾不復以斯名語人、

乃謂來攻之祭司諸長、殿司、長老、曰、爾來以刃與梃、若捕盜乎、

有司復威嚇而釋之、以民故、無由刑之、蓋眾因其所為、而歸榮上帝也、
